Chapter 14: Battle

Marinette's POV

I shuddered as I remembered how we almost killed each other. I stopped for a break as I reached the bottom of the Eiffel Tower. I heard footsteps behind me and quickly turned around, my Ladybug instincts taking over.

"Chill, dudette,"

I stopped just before Nino's face, relieved that no one was attacking me.

"Girl, did you bring food for the kwamis?" Alya said while leaning on Nino. Smiling, I opened up Tikki's old home, showing then the food I brought.

"I'm here!" We turned around and saw Adrien running up to us.

Thank god the lift was working.

We headed up, and heard voices. The voices sounded really familliar...

"What do we do now?"
"We need to look for the Guardian..."
"We can't!"
"Well, we need to fight it!"
"They can't fight it!"

"But we can." We stood at the door, watching as all eight heads turned around in surprise.

"MOM?!?!?"

Our jaws dropped as we looked at the new heroes.

"I TOLD YOU THAT TURTLE GOT TOGETHER WITH THAT FOX!" Plagg shouted gleefully.

We all shot him a look and he shut his mouth up.

"No time to explain. Your miraculouses. Now." I held my hand out as the shocked heroes took off their miraculouses.

"Rena, analysis of the sit-" I started to say before Alya cut in. "HawkMoth didn't come today. But he's watching and controlling Element." I nodded my head as we all put on our miraculouses. I turned to face the kwamis. Tikki was hugging my cheek. All the other kwamis we having their little reunion with their previous holders.

"You all know the kwamis?" Emma asked nervously. Looking at the door, I saw that there was enough time for a small explanation as we had to wait. "Yes honey, we all know them." "But how? Did we accidentally leave our kwamis out at night?" Hannah suddenly panicked. "......girls, and Alex, we were the last group of heroes...." I started to explain, but was cut of by the door opening. We all turned as Chloe came in, shocked at the sight of our kids. "What are they doing here?" She asked, while I tried not to laugh at her face. "Oh my god, Master Fu had to, didn't he?" I nodded my head, as she muttered under her breath. "Did you bring it?" Alya suddenly asks. I tossed some snacks to the kwamis as Chloe took out the potion. "Hello!" Pollen flew out of Chloe's bag, and the kwamis all flew into a pile.

They broke the reunion pretty quick, and each took a little bit of the potion.

"Tikki! Power up!"
"Plagg! Power up!"
"Trixx! Power up!"
"Wayzz! Power up!"
"Pollen! Power up!"

We watched as the four teenagers gawked at the sight of the power up transformations.

"Tikki! Spots On!"
"Plagg! Claws out!"
"Trixx! Lets pounce!"
"Wayzz! Shell on!"
"Pollen! Let's buzz!"

We all looked like our usual forms.
With not transformation whatsoever. Me with my signature pigtails.

"Seriously Tikki? You know what never mind." I groaned touching my pigtails.

"Bug! Element is flooding the streets again!" Nino shouted from the door.

I nodded and touched the ladybug on my chest. "Water." I murmured as Emma squeals. "You four stay safe." I reminded them before swinging out, heading towards Element.

"DID YOU MISS US, HAWKMOTH!?!?"

Emma's POV

I watched my mom and dad transform into the previous Ladybug and ChatNoir. I was shocked. So that's why my dad calls her bugaboo and makes such terrible puns! Hannah and Alex's parents are Rena and Carapace, and Chloe is Bee!!!!

(Emma.exe has shut down)

We watched as they headed towards the mannequin, or Element, as they call it. Suddenly mom does some kind of motion that splits a part of the water in half.

"I'm not the only one seeing this right?"

Marinette's POV

It's already been an hour. This time, without HawkMoth, I had to use the freeze spell. I had dragged on the battle for a little too long, and we were all getting tired. I took a deep breath and transformed into my ice form.

The team saw me and was shocked. Rena immediately guessed what I was doing. They formed a semicircle around me as I froze a platform for us.

I have to do this. Remembering to motion and the words I casted the freeze spell.

I closed my eyes in fear as silence fell.

"BUG YOU DID IT!!!!"

I slowly opened my eyes and saw the mannequin frozen in place.

"LuckyCharm!" I shouted and a pebble dropped into my hands.

Chat went over to sperate the akuma and the mannequin as I caught it and De-evilised it.

"MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!" I shouted, throwing the pebble and returning things back the way it was.

We went back to the Eiffel Tower and Emma suddenly came out.

"Hello Ladyblog, I am Emma. I will be taking over today as Alya is busy. So we can see that our heroes have returned to beat an old enemy, but sadly me and my small team couldn't find the new heroes. So Ladybug and team, what do you have to say to everyone?" She winked at us and we gave her a short summary of what happened.

We were at my home, having dinner. We had just explained what the element was and why they couldn't fight it.

Tikki and Plagg were sleeping, Trixx was sitting on Alya's shoulder and Wayzz sat on the table.

We were reunited. By the most unexpected way. We were where we belong.

We were closer than ever.
