"What's with the immediate call, Mr.Devaughn? It seems rare for people like you to call" he smiled as he sat on the couch crossing his two legs

"I had something for you, Mr. Maxwell" he said bluntly, perfectly holding a glass of wine,looking straightly to his eyes

"It sounds interesting, what do you have this time Mr.Devaughn?" he smirked

"Blake Vin Devaughn ..." he said taking a chunk of his wine

"I want you to make him physically fit & perfectly trained" he muttered, desperate was evident in his shade

"Make him a monster if it's a must, but make it a second option perhaps another skill for him to live" he hissed under his breath

"Do you hear what you're saying?, Blane it's your son will be the person here not an enemy"  he stated not believing on what's coming  from the mouth of his friend

"That's the reason, he's my son, I want him to be away from danger & be feared by people, besides the world has full of suprises so is fate, why don't we make it upside down, him suprises the world" he answered sternly, still perfectly composed

"I will never understand your perspective in life,the way you think is very dark, the way you plan is deadly but still I find it impressive" amusement was reflecting in his eyes

"There are reasons on everything we do Kiel, it may not be now but soon it will  be answered  to the puzzled mind of yours" he said, finishing the final drop on his glass

Blake POV (present)

i never felt my father's love since my mother died from the ambush back in our place,

everything has change,my life,myself & even my perspective..

BUT I NEVER HELD A GRUDGE TOWARDS MY FATHER JUST LIKE him I WAS WISE ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND everything im seeing

the past that changes me completely..

BLANE POV ( BLAKE'S FATHER )

'Forgive me son but this is for your own good'  I thought to myself while watching Blake playing at our yard with Rein the son of Kiel, my comrade & my second in command .

Those smile that was plastered on his face will be gone , I will remove it from him, the joy he is feeling right now..

But is this what a father must do? I sighed , I hope everything will go smoothly just the way I planned

"You don't need to force yourself, honey" a sweet voice said ,coming from my behind...

I looked at her & walk through on where she stand, hugging her gently in my arms,

"It can't be helped" I said & cupped her face with my two hands

her eyes flickered with longing, my heart jolted as I saw the expression on her eyes, it only proves that I dont have a time with her anymore, dont get a chance to have a moment with her,

Guilt strikes me, this is not supposed to happen if it weren't him the case here

If I weren't the successor of this title, I had probably live a peaceful life with my family

but unfortunately this is reality where I'm standing now, this is life, there will be no safe place unless you're a prudent man, wise enough to survive the games of the world,

A moment later someone clears its throat, my eyes search for that person in the room & saw Kiel standing just right behind us,

Definitely a moment crasher, I facepalm, releasing my wife from my embrace & throw a card at him which he unsurprisingly caught it, I grinned

 

I did pick an extraordinary man, it seems like its going well according to my plan,

I smile at that thought, so this wont be hard afterall..

"though you gave me a card but man its kinda disgusting when you become all lovey dovey" he said playfully with his back on us

a moment later a phone rang the sound of it fills the room..

only to find out it was his phone ringing & but the looks of it he was shocked & I bet i knew who the caller was,

"babe" he anwsered with awe on his eyes almost whispering

looks who's talking, I smirked & back my attention to my wife who quietly giggle in her own space,

I joined with her but only i remember something important.
