"Catalina be home early we got an appointment later at 6:00 p.m. I want you to be there." I told my daughter who is now in a hurry to go outside of our house

"Yes mommy, bye!"

I sighed hindi ko alam paano ko maayos ang gusot na to...

Paano kami haharap na magasawa sa kanya?..sa lahat ng kasalanan ko sa kanya...

" Madame I recieved a call from the secretary of Mr. Gonzales, he already confirmed that he will be able to attend your appointment with him" - maid

"Okay, kindly ready my things into my car"

Blake's POV

As soon i arrive from my flight, cameras flash time after time taking a photo of me, crowd is getting noisy, fans,reporters & the media asking questions,specifications & even personal lives...

I do not want to waste time, this is not what im here for, Im here for her..

" Sir you have a meeting with Mrs. Reyes this evening..."

I knew it this would happen..

" Mr. Blake can we interview you for just a minute, sir.." - the reporter who is now struggling to get free from the crowd & able to near to me with a phone in her hand

I turned to the media reporter & smiled to her geniunely

" Well meet at the press conference" with there the security drag me out from the crowd & lead me through the service they've prepared

we got in the car with my assistant who is seated beside at the driver seat & look to her direction as I remove my coat off..

"Ms.Collins when will be my appointment of Mrs.Reyes?" I asked while I scan the other schedule she gave me from my press conference to interviews, I sighed this day will be hectic

"The appointment will start at 7 p.m. at the Stars Royale Restaurant, Sir"

I nod in response, minutes has passed we already arrived at the hotel where we'll be staying..

* Hotel *

I prepared for the appointment this 7 p.m. I went through to the bathroom & washed myself after doing the rituals i dressed up then decided to sit for a while, it was still a little bit early though

I glance the ring that I bought in Paris, a diamond sphere shape ring that glitters as i turn it sidewards, I smiled to myself tonight i will get her back now or never she's mine

* Star's Royale Restaurant *

I arrived exactly at 7 p.m. sharp hoping didnt wait me for too long, I started walking through the door of this fine restaurant..

As I entered, the excitement that fills me is now ranging in my heart,

"This way sir" the young man lead the way through the reserved table

As we walk to our final step on which I saw I woman standing infront of me..

"Mr. Gonzales"she greeted me with formality on which i did the same thing

I felt the sudden change of aura as we both take our seats listening to the sound of silence that last for a minute

I cleared my throat to start a conversation but she interrupts me

"It's been a year, Blake" she said in a low voice, the calmness was new to my ears for i was not used to it

I didn't respond but i know what she meant by it...

It took me minute as I've decided to talk to her involving the personal life & the dilemma there facing...

I was about to talk when i was interrupted again by someone, which cause my frustration

" Hi Mom! "

I was taken a back as I heard the sweet voice that is so familiar to me. . .

I followed the voice that coming from my back and saw a beautiful maiden walking toward us gracefully

My body froze, this is the moment I've been waiting for...

Joy overwhelmed me don't know how will I react

"Catalina.." Her mom whispered as they hugged each other

"I told you I wont be late" she said as she praised herself

I wanted to snatch her at that moment & gently crash her into my arms longing for her warmth & her hug....

"Sorry Im late"

My brows furrowed in confusion to the guy who also dressed formally. Cant help to have questions in my mind. Who is this man? I look at him from head to toe, based from my knowledge i don't have any appointment with this guy & possibly he is not involved with this meeting

I was about to interrogate him when Catalina chirped happily to the man standing at her side

" Oh! It's alright we're on time, and I think it's a perfect timing to tell mom, I know Dad won't mind if i tell you first" she stated as she smile widely

Those smile i haven't seen for all my life.. something jolt inside me..

Can it be?... it weren't for me?..

The happiness that I felt was starting to fade as i heard the words that i wished i never heard....

"Mom, don't know where to start but I'm engaged! " she said with excitement in her eyes.. As she showed the ring to her mother that was place on her ring finger...

I clenched my fist under the table on which they won't be able to see

I'am confused ,I wanted to ask them, to ask her what 's happening, wheres my Catalina whom I've love, why... she didn't notice my presence.... Does she mean it?...to hurt me?..why?..

I wanted to breakdown right there, right now.... This feeling that is now wrapping my heart is unbearable, i wanted to cry but I must not...

"Umm Mr. Gonzales?"

I came back to my senses though i dont feel well at any moment will breakdown

I clear my throat but with a hoarse tone of voice

"Yes, Mrs. Reyes Ive already read your proposal & I have decided not to buy it from you" I stopped and looked to her, Catalina, who is now worried waiting for the next line that i will say maybe shes aware of their state but how come she aint aware that im here?

'Blake focus, dammit!'

" But I will pay all your debts to keep your company save at risk & the rest, tomorrow send all the bills to my office, my time is up here, I need to go"

Did not wait for her response & immediately stood up & walk through the door with a composed posture

Pretending nothing happens...
