"taehyung?" jin gulps discreetly, prior to giving him one of the fakest smiles he could muster up at the moment. "who? never heard of him." the oldest laughed alone, elbowing yoongi to force him into a fit of fake laughter.
"why'd you ask so suddenly?" yoongi quietly asks the boy in hopes that jimin remembered something about their past. "don't know, t-the name just came into my head." he told truthfully while scratching his head, maybe he just read it or heard it somewhere jimin thought.
"i um, i'm also wondering how you got the message to appear on my hand?" yoongi fought back the urge to run over to the small blonde to envelope him into a hug and apologize for everything he had done to him this week.
"yoongi? you good?" jin asks, "he's asking you a question." jin knew that was a stupid question to ask yoongi considering his soulmate couldn't remember him at all, but jimin doesn't know that, like the memories had just faded.
"yea, i uh, saw you this morning, you dropped your pen remember?" yoongi smiles sparingly, not enough to show it was genuine, which made jimin frown for some odd reason. "i touched the back of your hand and spoke my message."
jimin shook his head and went back to the other room, most likely to come up with more questions he could interrogate them with. the older pair continued talking about their own problems about the past.
as yoongi was talking, his phone buzzed in his back pocket, he took it out and stared at the message on the screen, realizing soon after that it wasn't his. it was jimin's.
joonie💞
where are you, jimin?
joonie💞
are you okay?
yoongi felt his heart shatter, sure it was just his friend, but he had a nickname and a heart, a damn heart next to his name. he wouldn't admit it, but he was jealous. extremely jealous.
he had to get his jimin back.
