"hello, jeon jungkook! i'm not sure how you know me, but i'm so sorry that i bumped into you." jimin giggles taking the few pages of papers out of the younger boy's hands, "i swear i'll watch where i'm going from now on!" jungkook shared a cute smile, knowing that yoongi was present right now.

the blue in jimin's eyes only grew more as yoongi came closer and closer to the pair, "you better!" jungkook jokingly says, nudging the boy's shoulder slightly.

jimin blushed only a little before nodding and walking off to go back to his house. yoongi stayed for a few seconds watching jungkook stare at his soulmates back.

jungkook starts to laugh incredulously, "oh yoongi, you can come out now." he makes little clicking noises as if he were looking for his pet. yoongi tries walking around him quietly, ultimately making the younger boy laugh once again, "found you."

yoongi reappeared into sight as he was pushed against the lockers by his collar, "h-how did you know?" his sentence come out as stutters due to the lack of oxygen he was currently receiving. jungkook pushes him further into the lockers, the older boy's face becoming a light red.

"your eyes only glow when you're near your soulmate, did you forget?" his friendly persona comes into play as he tilts his head to the side, observing yoongi who was still gasping for air. it was true, in the year he had spent apart from jimin, he had forgotten that his eyes show color when he was near his destined love.

yoongi coughed when he was dropped onto the cold floor of the hallway, jungkook kneels down and places a finger under the older boy's chin, moving it upward slightly so their eyes would meet, "leave it alone, yoongi. you won't be able to fix it."

the boy chuckled again as he stood up watching yoongi's face drain of all color, "you won't be able to find him." he smirks mischievously and walks off leaving the boy on the floor.

when jungkook was out of sight, jin came out of the classroom with a smile, but immediately spotted his co-worker on the floor.

"tell me everything."

"baby boy, you're going to have to be more specific than that." yoongi coddles the boy in his arms. he was extremely tired, given that it was literally three in the morning, but still, this was the only time jimin could remember him at all, so he couldn't complain at all. "it's like you're stuck?"

jimin nods while hugging yoongi, the blondes face pressed up against his boyfriends chest, as they lay together in his bed. "it's so empty. it's like here, but not even one person is around." he whimpers again.

it had been a whole year of being in an isolated parallel version of this world, he was stuck in that place, "did you find jeon jungkook?" he questions quietly, yoongi nods hesitantly.

"really? you did? that's great! did he mention anything about taehyung?" jimin sits up with his back leaning against the headboard, his small hand reaching out to hold yoongi's. "no, he..." the boy stopped himself to choose his words carefully, "we didn't get to talk about that yet." jimin shook his head understandingly and slid down to lay on his bed again.

"hey, yoongi?" the boy mutters after a yawn had escaped his mouth. his soulmate simply hummed in response, making the blonde smile weakly, "can you hold me? i... i really missed being able t-..."

"sure, i'd love to."
