Alternative person's POV

"The situation has been contained. Hak Satoh has been attained to our custody. The authorities of Kuroitoshi will not know of his involvement with crimes committed at the warehouse of Kiso Futami," stated Kaito, adamant to his task like always.

"And what of his legal guardian-Yabshi Kagura?" I inquired, remembering the rushed phone call I had gifted Mr Kagura this morning-informing him of the boy's illegal mishaps.

"Yabshi Kagura has suffered a single-fatal shot to the abdomen, but shows signs of consciousness."

My head swelled with annoyance for how I could had let the situation escalate. Regardless, I kept my composure. Despite Kaito being my most trusted right-hand man, I could not let my steel mask of emotions slip.

"I have already sent for Dr Ikeda's team of physicians to attend to Mr Kagura's condition. I have sent Saiko's team to facilitate security at the Kuroitoshi hospital. But Kaito, it is important that no ordinary civilian is to see Hak Satoh. Only personnel from our team are permitted to attend to him. With his abilities so untamed, who knows what havoc he could cause."

"Yes your Majesty," Addressed Kaito.

"Good, keep me informed. I shall be on my way to make arrangements for Mr Satoh's transfer out of Kurotoshi," With that final statement I made a turn for the landline to make arrangements over the phone.

I paused mid-dial, sensing tension in the room. Doubt, reluctance, an inquisitive nature stronger than ever. These were the emotions I could sense within the room. These swaying of thoughts were certainly not coming from me, so they could only be emanating from one other source. I swivelled back around on my chair, putting the phone handset down momentarily.

"Kaito I sense your distress. Please do explain your thoughts on our current situation."

Kaito stood frozen. His impeccably professional stance seemed to crack momentarily. I knew Kaito was shocked that my abilities could gage his innermost deepest feelings, despite him knowing me for all these years.

"I know it is not my place your Majesty, but I am unsure of this action of moving Hak Satoh to Shiroimachi. We have never dealt with someone like him before; a criminal."

Kaito was right. Hak Satoh was a criminal, and could most certainly be a liability to all our plans. However his powers were stronger than ever; this was something that could not be ignored for much longer. I could sense such darkness in his existence, a darkness that he was willingly becoming an accomplice to.

"Mr Satoh is a misfit of the highest remark. But I have seen an undeniable good in him, and so we mustn't let him abuse his gift-especially if it means innocent lives are at stake. Furthermore, let us not forget that our organisation harbours the likes of criminals. He'll be safe in our hands. I'm confident we will be able to keep Mr Satoh in check."

Kaito almost let out a smirk at my remark regarding the 'criminals' of our organisation. He knew, despite my connections to the higher order, I had no respect for anyone who assumed they had control over me.

"And your Majesty, what about your team? Will Hak Satoh be joining the team you are assembling?"

The 'team'. The elite force that I was assembling of beings with special abilities. Would Hak Satoh be joining this team?

"Lets just say Kaito, I haven't thought that part through. The aim right now is to keep Hak Satoh contained. We mustn't forget he is only seventeen, his mind is most likely not in the right place right now. For now, let's keep his abilities a secret like I said, the last thing I want is for his powers to be exploited. Thank you Kaito, dismissed."

"Yes your majesty," and with that, Kaito gave a curt bow and exited the room.

I reached for the phone handset, but paused momentarily.

"What are we going to do with you Hak Satoh?"
