Personality: Chynna is an kind girl who is rather quiet and shy. She used to be cheerful and optimistic when she was younger. However after the events that lead to her enslavement at a young age and being verbally abused by everyday made her fearful and quiet. Her fear got worse when she becomes an l'Cie. Her fear starts going away whenever people show her kindness resulting with her original personality slowly coming back. She looks up to people who are older than her if she knows that they are good people, and she is comfortable around people her age. She is also close to the other servants at her employer's mansion and mourned their deaths when she learns that they were killed while escaping Bodhum. She also has an curious side to her that most people say it borderline on naivety. Chynna is also brave when she puts aside her fear.

Bio: At the age of five years old, Chynna's home was pillaged by bandits who then sold everyone they didn't kill in the small town to wealthy people who need more servants. Chynna spent the next nine years in servitude to a noble man name Valen. Valen verbally abused her more than the other servants in his mansion. six days before the annual fireworks, Valen forced her to go to Pulse Vestige to find something valuable for him. Chynna went there as ordered and subsequently became an l'Cie. An fellow servant gave her an choker to cover up her brand so no one will see it and try to hurt her. The next day, she went out to get groceries where she meets Nora and Hope for the first time. She was surprised when the older female was concerned about her bloodshot eyes and the dark circles under her eyes from crying almost all night. Chynna simply told her that she was fine before she went on her way. She later sneaks out of the mansion with her fellow servant's help so she can watch the fireworks.
During the purge, Chynna was stunned when Valen announced that he is using his secret escape route to save himself and his servants. He then asked her to go see the train with him. Not understanding his reason for this, she agreed. However once she gets there, Valen cruelly pushed her into the train as the doors were closing. Terrified since she knows what will happen to her and knowing that she will never have an chance to find her family, she begging for her life until Nora who recognized her comforts her until the resistance rescues the people on the train. Chynna later joins Lighting and her group.
(XIII-2) At an unknown amount of time, Chynna had gotten married to Hope and is now helping him with his work alongside Alyssa.
(Lighting returns) Chynna becomes Lighting's main companion. Although her only intentions is to kill Bhunivelze for what he did to Hope.
