Background: Three weeks after Minato starts attending Gekkoukan high school, Chynna moved to Iwatodai with her parents. A short time after arriving, her mother left for a model gig and never came back. Seeing her dad get depressed, she made him some chocolates that made him smile making her happy. Eventually her dad was severely injured while and had to be placed in a coma. Chynna had tried to call her mother who refused to talk to her. Out of despair, she ran away and hid in Iwatodai Dorm a day after Ken arrived there.
