Prologue

As the moon slowly rose to the skies, people began to rush inside their humble homes; panicked expressions etched on their faces. They began to lock their doors, close their windows and cower in their rooms, praying that he would not find them. You must be wondering who this he is, to tell you shortly; this he we speak of, is a terrifying man. No he didn't kill or torture people, that was against his 'regulations'. So what did he do? He stole from people, and what made him terrifying? The fact that no one has seen him, not a glimpse, not his figure, not even his shadow; no one knows whether this thief was human, or not. And since these people were ordinary just like us, they feared the unknown; they feared him. Since he only appeared at night, the people no longer wandered the night, leaving the dusty streets empty every night. This cycle continued on and on for 2 years, you would've thought that the people would gain more courage to face him, well truth to be told; the people were still cowardly, still hiding from him...

But did they know?

This thief they were fearing, was nothing but a witty, sarcastic, grumpy teenager? A teenager with excellent thieving skills? No they didn't know that, they were too afraid to see for themselves! You must be thinking, "This dude must be our protagonist..." Well jokes on you! Though I've talked quite a lot about him, he isn't our amazing main protagonist! Our main protagonist, was a she!

She had beautiful blond hair, that reached until her hips; and each lock would glimmer if made contact with the blazing sun's rays. Her eyes were of the color of piercing gold, that shined like a precious topaz. She was quite a beauty if I say so myself, though she was incredibly beautiful, her attitude made men scatter away from her. Behind that beauty, is a short-tempered, impatient, rebellious, very independent, and brave lady, how did her attitude scare men away? Since she was short-tempered, if a man would insult anything about her or her family; she would definitely not let that slide. She would kick you out of her house, no hesitation at all! Even if it was a single insult! Now this girl is our amazing main protagonist!
