Weclome to 'From Words on Paper', where we get to know some of our favorite authors, and learn more from them beside what they create for the fandom.
Tonight on the show, we are joined by DemonSlayerShadow666. An individual who is not affraid to speak his mind and who published both stories and Rap songs on Wattpad. And we're glad that he could join us here, tonight.
Artomix: First of, thank you for joining 'From Words on Paper'. It's an honor to have you here.
Johnathan: It's a pleasure being here
Artomix: I want you to know that you're free to ask questions to me as well, and that you aren't forced to answer all of the questions if you don't want to.
Johnathan: Alright
Artomix: I guess the best question to start this off is, who are you? So tell us a little about yourself.
Johnathan: So I'm from the UK. I am an outspoken member of the Wattpad community, like legit I don't care of my views offend anyone, I say what I want no matter the consequences. I don't give out my real name to anyone
I have multiple names on Wattpad:
1) Johnathan Mathers - as you can see here and on Wattpad. This name refers to when I made my first ever OC, a Pokémon OC, and since then I've been known as Johnathan to many of my frequent collaborators/close friends.
2) Shadow - this was a nickname/rap name of my OC Nero Rose-Mathers (my first RWBY OC) and it just became mine as I write raps/music and post it to Wattpad.
Finally 3) Silver/Silver Shadow - this was just an amalgamation of rap names. Silver was another nickname of mine as I once dyed my hair Silver and well Eminem is my idol and he has an alter ego called Slim Shady. My main rap name is Shadow and I wanted to create a maniacal alter ego and that's how the name Silver/Silver Shadow was born.
Also I am known as Shadow Midoriya but that's due to my second account being an Izuku Midoriya fan account.
Artomix: Alright. At least it's nice to see that you're truelly not affraid to speak your mind. Something that most people not even dare. And since you answered the question that I was about to asked about your name, or names in your case, we'll go to the next one. How did you discover RWBY?
Johnathan: Through my really good friend, probably my best friend on Wattpad I found her when she was doing pokemon fanfic and she included my OC in it and then she started writing RWBY stuff and was adamant in my watching it and so I did and the rest is history. How about you? How did you find RWBY?
Artomix: It was around end November or mid October last year, around the time when I started to write my first RWBY story. I learned about it's existence from Shiranori's 'RWBY x Assassin!Male!Reader Crossover' (that's it's actual name), and I found his stories interesting but also the characters. I had some free time and decided to check out what RWBY actually is. And from then on is history.
Anyway, the next question is, have you ever written something before RWBY? If so, what is it about?
