Louis Tomlinson was the boy who put the rose outside for Harry. He's been stalking Harry for months now, but he hasn't made the nerve to talk to him. He couldn't. He knew that with one look, Harry would gag from the way Louis looked. His physique was small and thin and his dark hair was slowly thinning. He sighed as he slowly picked up a green rose, thinking about the time that Harry ran into him from footie practice. Louis was by a tree, listening to the 1975. He was moving his lips to the tune of the song. Louis wasn't paying any attention when the curly hair lad ran into him.

"Oof, I'm sorry," the curly haired lad muttered quietly.

"No worries," Louis said and pushed his black rimmed glasses back onto his face. Louis looked up at the boy and his heart immediately stopped. He had curly brown hair and those sparkly green eyes that one would kill for.
His dark hair was sticking up from his beanie that was now on the ground.

"I'm really sorry. Excuse my clumsiness," he said as he grabbed onto Louis' hand and helped him up.

"I'm Harry," he said and smiled at Louis.

"I'm Louis," Louis replied with a quiet tone, picking his beanie up off the ground and placing it back onto his head.

"It's nice to meet you," Harry said and shook Louis' hand in a friendly matter. He glanced down at Louis' shirt which was a black Green Day shirt with roses around it.

"You like Green Day too?"

Louis nodded with glee, eyes filling up with joy. Green Day is what saved him.

"Yes, I am."

Harry nodded and smiled at Louis. The smile showed his dimples and Louis couldn't be more happy.
Just then, another lad approached Harry and put his hands onto his shoulders. "Come on Harry. Let's get back to the game," the boy's deep voice spoke. He looked into Harry's eyes and smiled. "Okay, I'll be right there Liam," Harry replied as Liam nodded, running back off to the other group of boys waiting for Harry to come back.

"I've got to go. It was nice meeting you Louis," Harry ran off, leaving Louis to wonder if he liked the curly boy or not.

That was years ago in junior year. Now, Louis knew for sure that Harry was a senior in college, just like he would have been if he didn't drop out.

Louis wiped the tears that were clouding his eyes and looked at the rose. "They're just like your eyes Harold?" Louis replied, keeping the rose close. He knew that was going to be the next one to give to Harry.
