The hug didn't last long though. For Yuri realized that Victor was trying to hug back, and that for to strangers that just met and where fighting the day before. Wasn't quite right.
Very quickly before Victor could fully respond to the hug Yuri pulled away. Standing back slightly awkward.
"We should.. uh.. eat now. Don't you think?" Yuri broke the silence "Umm.. Yeah we should" Replied Victor scratching the nape of his neck.
The two sat down on the red and black plaid blanket. There spot was atop a small hill next to the pond that sparkled in the sun with a small rift as the wind was a slight breeze with the clouds reflecting off of the water.
Yuri's eyes where sparkling with amazement as he gazed upon the pond. "Wow"
"Beautiful" Victor softly announced looking at the younger male. "Hmm" The raven agreed not looking at the older man.
Grrrrrowl~.... Yuri's stomach reminded him that he has yet to eat since he has awaken from his sleep.
His arms quickly rapped around his stomach has a blush quickly spread across his face.
"Oh someone is hungry~" Yuri just turned his head away from Victor. "Oh come on, Yuuri~ it happens to everyone." A darker shade of red covering Yuri's face and the tips of his ears. "We should eat, ok? Yuuri?" The embarrass man turned to face the center of the blanket but kept his head down so Victor didn't see his bright red blush.
"Here" Yuri slightly glanced up to see a bento with strawberries being held out to him. "Th-thank you" "Your welcome. There is plenty more were that came from" here. Yuri looked up to see sandwich's cut into tiny triangles, and a MELON?!
(Ok for any one who doesn't know, in Japan melons are a really expensive food because they are viewed as a delicacy and Rich food.)
Yuri's head shot straight up at Victor face flushed red. "V-VICTOR?! WHY DID YOU BUY THIS" Yuri stammered out with a mixture of shock, surprise, disbelief, and embarrassment.
"What?" Victor chuckled a little "Oh the melon?" "Y-yeah.. you didn't have to spend so much money" "It's ok, I don't really mind" "B-but why would you spend so much on someone like... me?"
"Why not?" Victor and Yuri were looking deeply it to each other's eyes. To them it felt as if time had stopped, the birds stoped being so noisy with a soft breeze blowing the soft pink petals from the trees. Very slowly inching towards each other.

"We should eat" Yuri broke the silence and pulled back his arm that was stretched out to grab a piece of melon.
