Victor's point of view

"Umm, yeah. Hi," Yuri said shyly and timidly waved at the camera.

He was wearing a tank top that hung loosely on him showing off the sides of his torso. My cheeks flushed slightly when I saw him, hoping that my phone was angled up enough so he couldn't see the pink that dusted my face.

"I thought you forget about me," I softly laughed and seemed to get a reaction out of Yuri.

"Yeah, sorry about that. I was preoccupied," he gestured to the towel on his head before rubbing his hair with the towel to dry it a tad bit more. When he removed it his hair was all over.

I shuffled a laugh. "nice hairdo," I said in a teasing tone with a wink.

Yuri's face turned bright pink as he tried to fix his hair so it wasn't so out of place. "don't be so mean," he said with an adorable pout.

All I did was let out a small laugh. "I sent a couple of messages asking if we were still having the call," I said softly before Yuuri shifted slightly, he seemed to be checking to messages as I sat down in front of my window to provide light.

Setting my phone against the window Yuuri noticed this.

"What time is over there?" Yuuri asked his eyes sparkling with ceruisady.

"Ahh.. 2:23 pm," I said looking at my watch. "What about you?"

Yuuri turned around to look at the digital clock siting on his side table by his bed. "8:23 pm," Yuuri said as he turn back to the camera.

"Ahh ok. Then I should get to the point so you can go to bed," Yuuri's face turned a shade of pink as he looked down at the table top, avoiding my gaze.

"Y-Yeah that is why we called," he stuttered out, now seeming very interested in a pen the was sitting of to the side.

I knew that he did want to hear what I wanted to say. Yuuri just seems to be the kind of person that doesn't know how to deal with these kind of things. "So for staters, I wanted to say sorry. I shouldn't have done what I did." I paused when Yuuri froze. He looked like he was conflicted if he should look at me or say something.

"It's ok. Don't worry about it." He said after a small pause in the conversation.

"No I shouldn't-" I got cut off.

"How could you say those things about your self? Your an amazing skater." Yuri looked up at me his eyes glossy from tears treating to fall.

"Yuri-" he cut me off again. I don't want him to cry.

"No. You are the reason I fell in love with skating. Victor, I fell in love with you." He let a tear fall as the words left his mouth in a whisper. "And to hear those things about the man I love-"

"Yuuri," I said sternly getting his attention.

Yuuri looked so small and submissive under my gaze. Even if we weren't together in person.

"I said those things about myself because I hated myself back then. I had nothing, no one to live for. Yuri I didn't know what my purpose in life was. But now I do. So I'm trying to fix what I ruined," I looked Yuuri in the eyes to see tears forming.

A few moments went by with no response.

"I'm kind of poring my heart out here it would be nice if you at least said 'ok'," I half joked and half desperately asked for a answer, scratching the back of my neck.

Yuri let a smile slip before answering. "It's late I have to go Victor," Yuri hung up with a small smile.

"What just happened," I asked makachan, who was sitting on my bed.

Authors note
Okay so I've basically been procrastinating writing this/been busy. But it's finally done. Other than the irregular updating schedule, how does everyone like the book? It's getting close to the end; so look forward to that.

With that out of the way.

I can't believe that this has reached 2k reads and almost 100 votes! You all are amazing! Thank you for all the support I have reserved over the year of writing this book. ❤️❤️❤️
