Chapter 9: Sasukes Secret

   I scarf ramen as Sasuke stares at his bowl. "What?" I ask with a mouth full of delicious noodles. He looks up at me and chuckles,then wipes my lips gingerly with his thumb. I blush.

   "Ramen is not my ideal course." He explains as I take my last bite.

   "Have you ever had it?" I ask sarcastically. Of course he has.

   "No." He says.

   "Well here." I can't believe it. I lightly push his ramen towards him. He grabs his chopsticks and picks up a noodle staring at it as if its sediment. He smells it then slurps it up as I smile. "Do you like it?" I ask. I can never tell for he always has that same distressed look on his face."Well?"

   "It's okay." He looks at the clock on the wall. "Shit. I'm sorry I have to go. I'm going to be late."

   "For what?" I ask.

   "My doctors appointment." He gets up, sets money on the table and walks off I follow.

   "I'm coming with you."

   "No. I have to go alone." He gets in his car and I hurry to get in on the passenger side. He takes a deep breath. "Just promise to stay in the car." He says as I nod and he drives off.

   When we get to the hospital he keeps the car running then opens his door. "Don't touch anything." He demands. I nod and he shuts the door.

   I look around his car then turn on the radio. Classical music plays, what the hell is this? I change the channel to hear some band screaming about something. Then change it again and realize music isn't really needed. I have a hard time understanding Spanish. Does Sasuke know Spanish?

   I know I told him I wouldn't touch anything but 30 minutes goes by and he's still not out. I open his glove box and pill bottles fall out. I read some of the labels.

"Amiodarone" " Flecainide" " Isordil" What is all this? I count the bottles 15. What is wrong with him? Is this what he's scared of? Is this why he doesn't want to get close to anybody?

   I look up to see him walking to the car. I hurry, shove the bottles back in the glove box, and shut it just as he opens the door.

Well I am still debating how I want to end this story. I just really don't want to disappoint anyone. I think I'll write another chapter later considering this one was so short. ❤
