Chapter 10: No more secrets

...

   As I drive I peer over at Naruto to see him gazing out the window. It's odd for him to be so quiescent.

   I shove him lightly, and he looks at me for a moment giving me a death glare then continues to stare out the window.

   "Let's go to your house." I suggest. He nods slightly not even glaring at me.

   The car is silent. I've always wanted silence but now that I hear it, I hate it. Speak Naruto! But it's still silent. He directs the way by simply pointing left then right signaling me to go straight. It's awkward.

   As we pull in his driveway, he speeds out of the car then into his house. I put my focus on him. His house is dainty and antiquated, but still very homy for one who lives alone.

   I step out of the car feeling small wet beads falling from the sky. I run around to the other side of the car to shut the door but notice heart pills laying on the floorboard of my car. I pick it up then stare at the house.

   He knows, now I must explain this secret I've been hiding. Is this the cause of his sudden anguish?

   Acrimony suddenly rages inside of me as rain starts to pour. I slam the door then rush inside. I open the door and yell as I see Naruto sitting on his couch. Did he not expect me to come in?

   "You touched my pills!" I scream.

   He stands then walks over to me "Asshole! You fucking kept this from me!" He pushes me.

   "Naruto! We have only known one another for about a week! Your so moronic! What am supposed to tell you? Huh?"

   "You are my best friend I don't care how long we have known each other!"

   I throw the pill bottle across the room causing white and red capsules to fly everywhere.

   "Why do you care so much about me? I am fucking nothing!" I yell.

   "I love you!" My eyes widen as he falls to the floor crying. "I love you." He whispers as I stare at him.

    "What if I'm crippled? What if I can't move any part of my body and I am forced to live on tubes for food and water and I have to just lay their basically lifeless wanting to die everyday but couldn't speak to save me? What would you do?" I say as tears swell in my eyes. I have to stop them. He stands with wet salt silently falling down his face then grabs the back of hair and whispers in my ear as his voice trembles. "I'll still be by your side Sasuke."

   He let's go of my hair as we look each other in the eyes deeply. "I-I love you too."

   Well...there you go. The end is getting closer every chapter. My eyes burn I went swimming. was going to write another chapter but the stinging in my eyes is to harsh. thank you for reading though can't wait to update tomorrow. ❤
