"Hey, beautiful."
Harmony rolled her eyes exasperatedly. "You don't even know what I look like, dumb ass. And seriously, 'babe'?"
Sawyers deep chuckle rumbled through the phone, causing Harmonys insides to melt. "Yep. New nicknames. Babe, beautiful, baby. And I know that you have a sexy ass voice and that I wish I could hear my name coming from your mouth when I am in be-"
"God, Sawyer! You seriously have no filter." Harmony groaned out in what seemed like annoyance, but really, her cheeks were heating up extremely fast.
"Alright, alright, I'm sorry! I'll start with the questions. Uh, do you play any sports?" Sawyers husky voice was making Harmonys insides confused but she quickly shook off the feeling.
"Er.. yeah. I actually play soccer on the girls soccer team at school." She replied almost whispering. Harmony wasn't sure if Sawyer could find out who she was by this information, but decided he probably wouldn't even think about it.
"Ah, what position?" Sawyer had thought about looking on the teams section in old yearbooks, but decided against it. He didn't want to seem like a stalkish guy.
"Goalie. My turn. Favorite color?" Harmony was quick to answer. She didn't like talking about being a goalie or that she was also captain for the girls team. Truth was, she was offered many soccer scholarships to colleges because apparently she was 'the best out of the whole girls soccer team'. She hated rubbing it in.
Plus, her coach had told her that Sawyer was the best on the guys team, hence team captain. So no doubt that he had also gotten scholarships.
Sawyer noticed the quick subject change, but didn't push it. He could tell it was a.. sore subject for her.
"Hm. I don't have a specific one, but I like grey, white and black. Just neutral colors. What about you?""Really? That's cool. That's actually the same for me. White, grey and black. Mostly because other colors remind me of happiness, but like those three colors are basic and look good together. Wow that sounded really like.. depressing but I didn't mean it too. Um, favorite food?"
Sawyer chuckled at the meaning behind her choices. The thing is, that was practically the exact same reason he chose the colors, too. "I would say steak. It's so good! But I also do like cheeseburgers or sushi."
"What! Oh, sorry for yelling! It's just.. cheeseburgers are my absolute favorite food ever and sushi is my favorite appetizer. I do like steak, but it's pretty expensive and I couldn't afford to eat it."
"Wow, that's.. crazy. It's like we are meant to be." Sawyer joked before continuing. "Ah, shit. Listen, I got to go, something came up, but we can talk later!"
"Alright, b- Oh. He already hung up."
