What Did I Do Now?

Marinette's POV

I felt horrible after what I did to Chat.

But what else could I do?

My heart belongs to someone else and it won't be nice to fool Chat and make him think I love him back.

I do love Chat but as a friend. He means a lot to me. He is my best friend and I hurt him.

Even if I gave him a chance it still won't be nice cause it would be a distraction.

Tikki tried her best to help me feel better but it was useless.

I sat on the chair of my study desk.
I switched on my computer and starred at the pictures of Adrien I had.

'Is he really worth it?'

Chat is always there for me. Chat took in so much pain just so I could be happy and I ended up hurting him.

Flashbacks of his depressed face after I rejected him shot back into my mind.

I didn't realize I was crying till a tear dropped  on my desk.

"It's okay." Tikki whispered

"It's not Tikki... It's not ok" I said then let all tears I didn't know I was holding in flow down.

I feel so stupid. I don't know why.

Maybe it's cause I just chose someone who can't even notice my feelings over someone that is ready to give me all the love I need.

I really hope I am not gonna regret this

I really hope Chat's gonna forgive me.

I slept off.

I woke up early the next morning. I did everything I had to do.

I tried my best not to look like I had been crying my eyes out.

I made sure not to make eye contact with my parents. I am not ready for questions.

They dropped me off at school and I went straight to class.

I sat next to Alya and faced the desk.

I could feel her eyes on me

''You okay girl?"she asked.

I nodded. I didn't bother to face her. I am really worried about Chat.

How is he doing? Is he us thinking about what happened? Does he still want to be friends?

"Girl I'm pretty sure you're not okay. What happened?" She asked.

I turned to face her "Alya I'm fine. I just have a small headache" I smiled

"Are you sure you don't wanna go home?" Alya asked. I nodded and smiled again.
