The Part Where He Leaves

Barry's POV

"Woah woah woah." Cisco says, stopping me in my tracks.

All three pairs of eyes are on me.

Alex holds a look of hurt, Winn looks dissapointed, and Cisco looks confused.

"What do you mean we need to go?" Cisco asks.

He steps infront of me to stop me from walking any further away.

"It's a long story." I sigh quietly. "A story i'll tell later, when we're back on our Earth."

I then step around him and begin to walk away.

Suddenly, Alex's voice calls out to me. "But what about my sister?"

I turn around and face her. She doesn't try to hide her emotions, her face holds a saddened look, like she thinks i'm leaving her for good.

Who knows, maybe i am.

If Kara's happier with Mon-El, then i hope she's happy, even if it means i'm not.

I stare at Alex and try to come up with a plausable answer for her.

"Uh, well." My hand reaches up to scratch the back of my neck. "Things are complicated."

She crosses her arms and shifts her weight, staring hard at me.

"But we're okay." I quickly stammer.

"Then why are you leaving." She strikes back fast, her cold gaze staring right into my soul.

Man this woman's scary.

"Because, uh, they need us back at Central City, ya uh, there's a metahuman crisis." I grab Cisco's shoulders and turn him around as we begin to walk away.

"Dude, really what is it?" Cisco whispers to me. "We both know Caitlin or Iris would have called me, they have no way or contacting you."

"Ya but they" I motion my head to Alex and Winn who are watching us walk away, "don't know that."

"Wait." I hear Alex yell after us.

"Oh shit man, we're screwed." Cisco whispers to me.

"Stay calm, stay clam." I whisper to him.

We both slowly turn around.

"Hey Alex." Cisco tries to act nonchalantly. "What's up?"

She gives Cisco a weird look and he almost cowars into himself, making me laugh a little.

But when Alex looks at me i shut right up.

What?

She can be scary.

"You kind of need my help to get home." She tells us.

I look at her confused for a moment, Cisco can just vibe us home, it shouldn't be that hard.

She returns my look and then Winn appears at her side, "We'll lead you to the training room, you can leave from there." He says.

"Oh." I carry out the 'h' as i realize what she meant.

For a minute i had thought she maybe caught onto us or something. But i think she might be buying my lie here.

We walk through the halls with Alex and Winn leading the way.

"You said goodbye to her, right?" Alex asks breaking the silence within the group.

"Huh?" I say, her question catching me off guard, it was something i wasn't expecting.

She looks back at me.

"My sister." She clarifies, "You told her goodbye, right? She knows you're leaving and all and you guys said your goodbyes?"

"Uh, uh, yeah, yeah we did." I stammer, holy crap i'm a terrible liar.

We all stop walking as she turns around and gives me a 'really?' look so i throw my hands up in mock surrender.

"Really, i said bye." And in all truth i did tell her goodbye, just not in the way any of them thought.

"I heard you heal fast, so if i find out your lieing, i will break your fingers one by one over and over again until your healing powers can't even function amymore." She threatens.

Okay, now i want to cry.

I stare at her, wide eyes and open mouth, too scared to even move.

Winn steps between us with his hands up.

"Okay." He says.

His hands motion to Alex, "She is kidding." Then his hands move my way, "And you will survive"

I slowly nod my head, still scared to even move a muscle.

I hope i can run fast enough from this woman.

The tension seems to fade as we begin to walk again. We remian in silence throughout the rest of the way.

The room she leads us to looks similar to the same room we arrived in.

"You weren't even here for a day." Alex says sadly.

"She's going to miss you, i can tell you that much." She adds.

"And i'm going to miss her even more, but i have to get back, they need our help." I say sadly.

Alex and i look over to Cisco and Winn.

"It's sad you didn't get to stay longer." Winn says.

"Next time i'll make sure we do." Cisco hints, looking over at me slightly.

Cisco turns back to Winn, "But you keep the ship and we can finish it up later."

"Will do, Captain Cisco." Winn fake salutes.

"We shall meet again soon, Captain Winn." Cisco fake salutes back.

The two laugh for a minute and Ciscos laughter dies down as he walks back to me.

I turn back to Alex, who now has Winn standing at her side.

"Thankyou," I tell her, "for bringing us here and letting me see Kara."

She nods her head, "Come back soon, for Kara's sake, please." She asks me.

I nod my head, even though i know there's a chance i may never come back.

"Okay Cisco." I turn towards Cisco and using my hands i motion to the empty space infront of us. "Light it up."

Alex and Winn step back to give us some space.

Cisco sticks out his hands and opens up a breach.

I think of Star Labs, double check to make sure Cisco is with me, and walk through.

A/N Not a very long chapter but i needed to fill in this space because i didn't want this to be a part of my next chapter.

I don't have much news to share other than school started (ew) so it'll be harder for me to write chapters now.

I hope you'll still stick with this book even though my updating schedule sucks.
