*Steve*
I watched in horror as Percy started battling Gaia. However, I did as he asked and told the Avengers to head I the battle ground. I also told them that Perce and I would be a little late.
I could hear many protests over the communicators. They were all reluctant to leave Percy and myself behind. Well... I don't think Tony was that reluctant to leave me behind. I didn't mind. That man was way to egotistical.
(AN I don't have anything against Tony or Steve, I'm just trying to portray the way they act in the film, Which, I must add, is amazing!)
Percy looked like he was losing. He was out if breath, stumbling and covered in cuts, on the bright side however, Gaia looked similar.
I knew that soon would be the end of this fight. I also knew that if Percy lost and... Died... the whole war would be over. But also, if he won, he would then have to fight Tartarus.
Either way, this didn't look good for Percy.
I was trying to figure out a way to help Percy. I stepped forwards to help him fight against Gaia. But then I saw Percy look over. As soon as he saw what I was going to do, he built a type of water barrier up around Gaia and himself.
"Don't want your friends to see you die?" Gaia said, you could hear her smile in her voice.
"No, I just don't want any more of my friends to be hurt because of me." Percy explain. He sounded like he was clenching his teeth together.
"Oh yes, that's right. How many is it now? Jason, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Leo, Annabeth and soon all the Avengers. And guess what? It's all your fault!" Gaia laughed evilly, but not for long.
I heard a massive shout. The next thing I knew, the barrier had fallen down and the dust covered the floor. I saw two bodies on the floor...
"Percy!" I shouted running forwards.
I was hoping for the best. Percy couldn't be dead. I sat down next to him, looking for any signs of life. He was immortal, he couldn't die... could he?
I heard hooves trotting forwards.
"Well...?" Chiron asked. Reluctant to find the worst, I slowly picked up his wrist... looking for a pulse. I couldn't feel one.
I started to shake my head. That was when I felt a pulse. My head shot up.
"He's alive"
*Tony*
Ok so, the first part of the plan was for the gods to teleport any monsters in the city to a open place we had selected for the battle. That would also happen to any monsters attacking Camp Half-Blood. Then we would either start fighting or wait for Percy, leaving the big baddy (aka Tartarus) till last.
Percy would stay to Camp until all the monsters there had gone. One of the Avengers might wait with him.
It all went to plan, Steve stayed with Percy but instead of the gods teleporting the monsters from camp here... Percy had already killed them. We were waiting for Percy and Steve to arrive. Steve said they were going g to be slight late.
We, the Avengers (Except Percy and Steve) and the gods, were waiting for Percy when Hades, the god of the underworld, flinched. Yes. The Lord of everything dark, flinched. We all shot him questing looks.
*Hades*
As we were standing waiting for Percy, I felt someone dying. This was quite unusual. It made me flinch.
Normally I don't feel people dying, I only felt it when an immortal was dying. Now I know what you think, How can an Immortal die? Trust me, they can.
Each person, no matter how strong, has 5 fatal fears. Much alike fatal flaws. If they are against one of their fatal fears or thinking of a fear as someone delivers a blow that would kill a normal human, they would die.
I was trying to figure out who was dying. All the immortals were with us now... weren't they?
When I found the soul of the immortal, I was surprised. When did he get turned into an immortal? Then I sent a worried glance at Poseidon.
It was Percy.
