*Percy*
A couple of minutes after I flashed in and started looking for Tartraus, I felt my dads presence behind me. He did the wise thing and stayed back.
By the time I had found Tartarus, he was already strolling over to me with a big grin on his face. All the monsters spilt apart to make a clear walk way for him.
I also saw the gods and avengers slowly edge towards me.
"Ah Perseus, how is my sister?" Tartarus asked with a grin. Is it possible that he already knew what had happened... No, he can't, only the Olympians, Hades, Hestia and Steve know what happened. He could probably feel that his sister returned to qTartarus, so... to him? How is that even possible? Wise girl would know...
"Dead." I stated simply. His smile wavered for a second before setting back into place.
"Yes, well... Perseus. The offer still stands, join us. Join us and this war will be over. Join us and your friends will not have to fight and will not be harmed." Tartarus explained like it was so simple, but, this might make it sound like I do only have a big ball of seaweed in my brain but I had to ask.
"If the war would be over if I handed myself over, why would you need me?"
"Oh, Percy, Percy, Percy, Percy." Tartarus said condescendingly. "You would be the price for your friends being speared. You can come with us, I will own your body and soul for eternity, and your friends will be safe."
I knew that meant Toucher and possibly more, but it would keep my friends safe.
My original plan was to go and hand myself over before the fighting started, however, I was slightly preoccupied when the fighting started. What would be the difference in handing myself over now?
"Percy, don't you dare." Natasha said to me. I hadn't realised that all the avengers and gods were now standing behind me.
That was when I made up my mind.
"I have to Natasha, you will all be safe but Tartarus, you have to swear on the river Styx that they will not be harmed." I stated clearly.
Tartarus opened his mouth to swear but Ares said something first.
"Right punks, Plan Omega. Everyone know what to do?" The allies (The gods and Avengers) all nodded and the next thing I knew I was in the floor being held down by My father and Hephaestus.
Seems like I wasn't the only one without another plan.
Everyone else had charged back into battle.
"Dad, let go." I said becoming angry.
"No son, we will not let you hand yourself over." Dad said.
"Dad, I have to. What if one if the gods fade? What if one of the Avengers dies?" I asked anger rising.
"If that does happened, which I doubt, it will not be your fault." Hephaestus said. With that comment I sighed.
I knew it would be my fault but I also knew that I wouldn't win this fight.
And for once, I was lucky.
"Ok, but try not to die, Percy. You're a pretty cool demigod/immortal." Hephaestus said. I gave him a weak smile and then stood up.
I looked around.
Where to start?
I saw a couple of hell hounds trying to sneak up behind Tony. I decided to start there.
I quickly cleared all the monsters in a ten meter radius around Tony.
Duck, slide, slice, doge, punch, kick. I repeated those moments over and over.
"Thanks, Perce." Tony said.
"No problem." I replied before running off. I heard Starks engine start up and I knew he had taken to the sky.
The next couple if hours continued like that. Duck, slide, slice, doge, punch, kick. As casual as that may sound, you try swinging a sword for hours and hours. It's hard work.
Everyone was starting to tire. Luckily, this included the monsters. Duck, slide, slice, doge, punch, kick.
About 5 hours into the battle, the worst happened.
Tartarus had won...
He had someone I had grown close to in his grip. The fighting on the field stopped once again.
And in Tartarus grip was...
