21. Pop Tarts Are The Best Food That Earth Has To Offer

I picked Percy up and the gods teleported us to The Stark tower. We quickly went to the infirmary and Bruce started to run tests on him.

"It won't work." Loki said walking in. "Whatever you're trying won't work. There is only one cure for this curse. My father knows it and Thor has gone to go and ask him about it. He should be back soon. But for now don't worry about Percy dying. As ill as he may look, that curse will keep him alive even if he was on deaths door" Loki finished. he had a troubled look on his face which was strange.

"Is that true?" Tony asked Bruce.

"It seems to be, all his vitals are working normally apart from the fact that is heart rate is a tiny bit faster than it should be... However that is probably a side effect of the-" He paused and took a deep breath "a side effect of the nightmares he is reliving." We all sighed.

About 10 minutes later Thor rushed in.

"What did you find?" Loki asked. Thor looked grim.

"Even though Odin has heard of Percy's deeds, he cannot trust him enough to cure him." Everyone's hopeful expressions instantly dropped.

"However, there is a way to help him." Thor stated and the room turned into chaos.

"What is it?"

"How can we help him?"

"Well hurry up and do it then!"

"What do we have to do?"

"Quiet!" I shouted. "I'm sure Thor was about to tell us the answer to your questions before you all started shouting. Thor." I said nodding at him.

"As I was saying," Thor continued "There is a way to help him. Thousands of years ago, when Odin visited Earth, he told the cure to one of the inhabitants so that if any of the people he looked after was cursed, he could cure it. This person is a centaur and goes by the name of Chiron." Thor finished.

"Chiron? as in Camp Half Blood's Chiron?" Clint asked. Thor nodded.

"Well what are we waiting for then? Thor take Percy there now, Tony go with him, everyone else will get there by cab and join you later." I said. Everyone nodded and Thor picked up Percy and started to fly followed by Tony who was still in his suit from the fight.

"Come on Percy, stay with us." I whispered under my breath.

*Thor*

I couldn't believe it when Father told me take he wouldn't cure Percy.

*Flashback*

I walked into the throne room on Asgard and kelt.

"Stand Thor, what is it that you want?" My father asked curiously.

"Father, you know of the Demigod Hero on Earth, Percy Jackson?" I questioned.

"Of course" Came the reply.

"During the last war against Tartarus, Percy killed Tartarus but before Tartarus died, he curse Percy using the Ancient curse." I explained.

"I see, and you want me to cure him?" My father questioned.

"If you could." I told him. He sighed.

"Alas son, I cannot."

"What?! Why?" I nearly shouted in outrage. Here, my father, who had the power to cure my friend, the mightiest hero on Earth, wouldn't!

"We do not know enough about him, he has not done enough to prove himself." Odin stated. I stared at him in disbelief.

"How can you say that? You know what he has done! How much he has sacrificed! How can you say he has not done enough!" Now I was shaking in anger, which was very rare.

"Go and find Chiron on Earth, I believe you have met him already? He knows the cure and will be able to decide if we can trust Percy Jackson or not. Also Thor, if you use the healing chant, it will bring Percy conscious again for 10 minuets, however, there is only a 75% chance he will survive that." I barely heard as I was already walking out the room.

*Flashback over*

How could he say that we could not trust Percy? That was like saying that Pop tarts aren't the best food this planet offers!

I landed outside the big house and rushed in. I saw Poseidon and the other gods. Poseidon currently looked very bad, probably due to the condition of his son.

"Chiron, we need your help." Tony said behind me.
