Chapter 8: Dungeons, Never Trust Them

Today's Meme: Fun yet evil? Isn't that Shadow and Karma's mindset entirely? And then they drag Asano into that insanity. Yep just that moment when Shadow forces Asano to go on a pranking spree with her and Karma and he realizes...'S*it this is actually fun.'  

Today E-class and The Phantoms were adventuring in a dungeon in order to replace the stone that the Big Five broke, when they came across a chest. "Careful guys. Remember what I've told you about touching stuff." Shadow said walking in front of the chest. "Yeah let Shads do it. She can actually risk it unlike the rest of you." Karma said with a shrug as a washing basin fell on his head. "What if it's a magic enchantment though?" Asano questioned. "She's immune to magic enchantments." Itona said walking up. "Really? We sure she's not the Big Bad?" Asano questioned. Itona shrugged. "She out did everyone else in a Big Bad competition so maybe?" He said in a questioning tone. "Shut up I need to focus." Shadow growled. "Yes ma'am!" Every member of the Phantoms shouted in fear, except for Karma. She opened the chest and a blinding light shun out, blinding the Phantoms and the E-class party. Once the light was gone Shadow looked inside the chest. She turned back to the other's. "Nothing in here guys." She said. "Way to manage your expectations." Asano said as a washing basin fell on his head, shocking everyone. Everyone else appeared to have switched bodies with someone, expect for Shadow and Ritsu. Even Koro-sensei. Shadow looked around. "Is this some mass prank that you all decided to pull on me? If so haha very funny you can stop now." She said in an annoyed tone. "THIS ISN'T A PRANK SHADOW!" Itona shouted seeming to be freaking out. Meanwhile Nagisa stood still with a bored look on his face. "It seems we've all switched bodies." He said. "In that case who switched with me?" Karma questioned pointing to himself, he looked to his side to see Asano standing there, then started freaking out. "ALRIGHT WHICH ONE OF YOU IS IN MY BODY!" He shouted pointing at the strawberry blond. Asano looked at Karma, then at himself. "It seems that me and Asano switched huh? Talk about lucky breaks." He said. "HOW IS THAT LUCKY! I DON'T WANT YOU IN MY BODY YOU F*CKING SADIST!" Asano, in Karma's body shouted. "Think about it, you and me have similar builds so adjusting shouldn't be that hard. Not only that but your specialty is the Magic Frostblade which for some reason I can make in my body. Until we find a reversal spell this is actually not a bad deal." Karma, in Asano's body said with a shrug. Asano stopped for a second, thinking. "Huh. You've got a point." He said making the Magic Frostblade. "Wait just one second." Shadow said trailing off. "Asano?" She called. "Yeah?" He said looking at her. "Karma." She said. "What is it Shads?" He responded. "OH MY GOD YOU TWO SWITCHED!? OH MY GOD THAT IS IRONIC AS F*CK!" She shouted falling over laughing. "What's ironic about that?" Karma questioned. Asano was glaring at the laughing Shadow. He made a 'cut it out' motion but she didn't stop. He walked over, grabbing Shadow by the shirt, and dragged her off somewhere. "You better not tell him!" He hissed pointing at her. She snickered, "What ever do you mean Kar- I mean Asano." She said, correcting herself last minute. "You know exactly what I'm talking about." Asano growled. She titled her head to the side faking a confused expression. He sighed. "The win-tay ing-thay." He murmured. "Ohhhh, the twin thing, yeah I won't tell him." She said. "Because he's already listening." Karma said popping up behind her. "WHERE DID YOU COME FROM!?" Asano shouted. "The entrance where else?" Karma said as a washing basin fell on his head. "So you're my twin? Huh. That makes a whole lot of sense. It explains why I can use the Magic Frostblade." He said. "Huh?" Shadow and Asano questioned. 

"Well yeah. I found this randomly cuz I was curious but twins share magical abilities." Karma explained. "I'm honestly shocked that you two didn't know. It's pretty easy to find actually." He added, a washing basin falling on his head. "Does that mean I have a twin?" Shadow questioned suddenly. Karma covered her mouth panicking slightly. "SPOILERS FOR RED AND BLACK BLOOD TWO! SHUT UP SHADS!" Karma barked. "MY MISTAKE I NEVER SAID THAT! IGNORE THAT READERS!" Shadow shouted covering her tracks. Her and Karma started laughing nervously while Asano just stood there confused. "What are you two talking about?" He questioned. "We know secrets of the universe you couldn't understand." They both deadpanned causing the strawberry blond to panic slightly. Pretty soon everyone who had switched bodies had name tags to show who was in what body. It took a while but it was decided that Meg, Kayano, Yada, Asano, Shadow, Isogi, and Meahara would all stay behind while the rest of the class went on ahead. "Why am I here again?" Shadow questioned, sweat-dropping. "Something about babysitting." Asano responded pointing up at Irina in Karasuma's body and Okajima in Meg's body. Both of which had been tied up because they were going to try something. "Still the majority of my team gets to go on up ahead and I'm stuck here. This sucks." She said gloomily drawing circles in the dirt. "Is she...pouting?" Asano and the others questioned. Shadow quickly reverted back to normal. "However there might be some problems if I'm not there with them." She said. "Geez that was fast." Everyone deadpanned. "What do you mean?" Asano asked. "Typically I'm the one who keeps Karma's cockiness in check and makes sure that he doesn't trigger to many traps. If I'm not there who knows how much his bug will take effect." She reasoned. Everyone froze thinking about it for a minute. "Well we're screwed." Everyone deadpanned. "Let us down!" Irina demanded. "No chance in Karma's floor." Shadow snapped back. Everyone sweat-dropped at her. "What does that mean?" Kayano, who was in Koro-sensei's body questioned. "Karma's floor is like hell. So no chance on Karma's floor means no chance in hell." Asano translated. "Is it that bad?" Everyone questioned. Asano shivered slightly sitting in a corner. "All the traps and the puzzles. I couldn't take it." He said to himself. "Geez how much of a sadist is Karma!?" Everyone questioned. "Think about it, if some big scary dungeon boss comes in we'll be sitting ducks!" Irina continued her argument. "You still have me here remember? And Asano will be able to fight in Karma's body since their builds are similar and the fact that Karma can make the Magic Frostblade, Asano's specialty. Same thing applies to Meahara and Isogi." Shadow pointed out. Irina had nothing left to use. "Umm. Okajima's been a little too quiet." Meg pointed out. The others sweat-dropped realizing she was right. "He's still alive right? What if the ropes are cutting off his circulation?" Yada questioned. "He's fine." Shadow said. "He's pretending so we'll let him down. Trust me I can tell." She said. The others nodded, knowing not to question her. Suddenly a loud crash was heard and Asano looked worried. "What was that? Asano you feeling alright man?" Shadow questioned. "I dunno. I feel like something just happened to my real body. Call it a sense of foreboding." Asano said. Shadow paled and quickly ran down the tunnel. "ASANO YOU'RE IN CHARGE!" She shouted.

When Shadow got down to where the others were she saw an...odd sight. Karma in Asano's body and Nagisa in Itona's body running from a giant boulder that was following them around. "KARMA I HATE YOUR BUG!" Nagisa shouted nearly tripping. "YEAH, YEAH, I HATE IT TOO!" Karma yelled nearly getting his cape caught. Shadow sweat-dropped. "Umm. What's going on?" She asked. Itona popped up next to her in Nagisa's body. "We were fighting a little bit when Karma and Nagisa went on ahead. Karma said some things, his bug triggered a trap, and that leads up to this. Karma and Nagisa running from a giant boulder. It's pretty funny." Itona said disappearing again. "Oh I get it. Karma was being Karma and now they need to run from a giant boulder. I get you Flame-Chan." Shadow said. (ENOUGH WITH THE FOURTH WALL THAT'S EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR!) "Oops. Sorry." Shadow said to no one. After watching Karma and Nagisa suffer for a little while longer Shadow finally destroyed the boulder saving the two. After that they all found a swap orb and used it to turn back to normal. It was successful. Everyone was happy to be in their normal forms. Well, almost everyone. Shadow tackled hugged Karma knowing that he was back to normal. And after untying Meg and Karasuma they left the dungeon. Shadow was glad to be out and return to the Phantom Tower. Every Phantom returned to their floors, well except for Karma. 

~Your POV~

I was sitting on my throne relaxing when Karma came to my floor. All the traps were off and he knew that. "What is it Karma?" I asked. "Well...Shads....I may or may not have....Locked myself out of my floor." Karma said fiddling slightly. "You...Got locked out of your own floor?" I questioned. "Yeah...I turned the traps off while I was out but when I came back they were all turned on and now I can't get in." He said. "What about you're master controller?" I questioned. "I lost it." He said. I facepalmed with a sigh. I tossed him another master controller for his floor. "There you go. Don't lose this one, you hear me?" I questioned. He caught it and smiled at me. "Thanks (Y/N)!" He said cheerfully. He ran back into the elevator and went back to his floor, leaving me by myself again. I sighed. "It's lonely at the top." I said. "I should plan some pranks." I added with a smirk. I clicked the master controller for my floor and the room began to shift into what looked like a (F/C) bedroom with (SF/C) details. I sat at my desk in the back and began brainstorming some new prank ideas.
