Today's Meme: This one made me crack up so much when I saw it. Shadow would also like those odds Koro-sensei.
Here, have a fluffy chapter. Because FLUFF.

~One or Two Years Beforehand~

A girl in a black cloak slowly approached the cave. Recently having left her own party. This girl was (Y/N) (L/N), also known as Shadow.

She walked closer to the cave, and hummed a little. "So this is where the Crimson Dragon resides eh?" She questioned. With no hesitation at all the female made her way inside, destroying everything in her path, but stopping to admire the craftsmanship of the traps. She eventually made her way into the back of the cave. The red head looked slightly familiar to her. Of course it made sense, considering he was one of the "Legendary Warriors". Shadow say it fitting to introduce herself to the other Legendary Warriors, in which she had unwillingly been included in the ranks in. The title of Black Assassin become more widespread by the day. Anyways, the red haired male, Karma, if she remembered correctly, slowly turned to look at her. "And who might you be? It takes either someone pretty smart or pretty stupid to come all the way back here." He said with a smirk, a washing basin falling on his head. Shadow sweat dropped. "Interesting bug. I take it whenever you look down on someone or think too highly of yourself that happens. Wonder if there's a way to nullify that..." She muttered. "What are you muttering about over there? It's obvious why you came here." Karma said, drawing his two knives. "Basic steel. Not threatening." Shadow thought aloud, causing a tick mark to form on Karma's forehead. He lunged forward in an attack, but Shadow simply side stepped and deflected him, using his momentum to send him to the ground. "The name's Shadow. I'm sure you've heard of me." She commented.

Karma got up and charged again. Shadow leaned back, avoiding the blade as she raised her foot and kicked it out of Karma's hand, leaving him with only one. "I didn't come here for a boss fight. I just wanted to introduce myself. I mean, it's kinda silly that the Legendary Warriors have no association with eachother besides that title or category or whatever the hell it is." Shadow continued to dodge, deflect, and side step all of Karma's attacks. All the while chattering away and pointing out ways to further improve his fighting style. "Y'know the first rule of combat is to not charge in blindly. You're awfully arrogant if you think an opponent will stand there and let you hit them." She commented, deflecting Karma's attack, using her hand to push his arm and knife away. He continued taking swings at her as she backed away from the blade calmly, side stepping a few times. She was really starting to p*ss him off. "Your technique could use more fine tuning. Your stance is off and you're completely off balance. Also you're attacking in a pattern. It's repetitive and easy to predict. I can also tell you're getting angry. Your emotions are easy to read, at least to me. It'll make it easy for others to predict your movements." She lectured, dodging with little to no effort. Karma actively growled, stabbing at her as his knife coated itself in flames.

Shadow smirked a little, feinting a punch before delivering a swift kick to the gut. Shadow tapped the air, a screen appearing before her as she checked Karma's level. "For the boss of a dungeon your level and stats are shockingly low. Are you so arrogant that you've ignored the basics such as training? I know this cave isn't supposed to be low level. Also you need higher level monsters besides those useless little...acorns that run around." There was some hidden resentment in Shadow's voice as she continued to lecture the dungeon boss. "Also, your bug. Your luck stat over here is SEVERELY problematic. Look, tell ya' what. Form a party with me, and I'll train you. I can help you improve your fighting skills and I can help with your luck stat. Deal?" Shadow asked, tapping the screen a few more times as a similar screen appeared in front of Karma. The male slowly recovered from the kick and sighed a little. He absolutely HATED IT when someone else was stronger than him. But if Shadow could help him get stronger...

He sighed reluctantly once again before selecting 'yes' to Shadow's party invitation. Their outfits changed to be similar to eachother, Karma's cape having a red underside and Shadow's having a (F/C) underside. Shadow cracked a smile. "Let's get to work then." She said.

~Time Skip~

Karma had grown used to living in the cave with Shadow. Then again, Karma was a quick adaptor. They shared many hobbies and Karma even found himself looking forward to the rigorous training sessions and dungeon raids that Shadow made him do. He learned many different types of attacks, magic, and many other ways to f*ck with people. Honestly, Karma himself had come out of his shell. Instead of distancing himself like he's done with so many others, he found himself becoming even closer to Shadow. Reluctantly at first, but he grew quite fond of the weird female. He saw much of himself in her. They were becoming closer each and every day, as did their reputation. No longer were Shadow and Red Devil two seperate people. They worked together, as a team, one unit. The Phantoms, was the party name. The Black Assassin and Crimson Dragon had truly caused an uproar with their team up.

~In The Present~

Shadow chuckled, sitting on her throne in the present day, looking back on her memories fondly as Karma had curled up in her lap like a cat, deciding that she was an awfully comfortable pillow. She smiled, reaching down and gently petting him since his neko ears were out. Her thoughts slowly shifted from her memories to her latest plan, a smirk crossing her features. She probably looked like a Super Villain in that moment. Then again, she did win the Big Bad Contest. Praise be the Demon Queen.

Really, Koro-sensei needed to up his game to compete with her. She had her own proper dungeon, some might even consider a castle in it's own right. Phantom Tower was nothing short of a strong hold as each member of the Phantoms grew stronger with each passing day. And the tower itself having it's own...defense systems. Phantom Tower could either be the greatest training grounds, or your personal hell. All on her whim. Shadow was the master, the queen, she was the one who pulled the strings. She chuckled gleefully. Feeling evil. As you do.

Nagisa and Asano seriously considered sending her to therapy a few times. But that was beside the point.

Shadow continued petting Karma, leaning back in her throne and relaxing. She really did need to get him a throne built in here next to her's. Then again, she didn't mind the closeness of having him right there. He was the King to her Queen. Second only to her. She smiled, more relaxed this time, no malicious intent as she gently kissed Karma's head. Faintly hearing him purr like the adorable Strawberry Kitten he is. The difference of their elements was uncanny. Fire, warm light. Shadows, cold darkness. And yet they went hand in hand. Side by side. Fire users walked a fine line between human and monster, while Shadow users walked a fine line between sanity and insanity. Never too careful to fall into one side or the other. Shadow had a habit of dipping her toes into the insane side a little more often. Her element made her feel safe, albeit cold. But Karma made her feel safer, in that warm embrace of his that made her melt.

Her face flushed black as she realized her thoughts and quietly hide her face in her hands and groaned. Oh the irony, one of the world's most terrifying assassins, one of the Legendary Warriors, was a love struck girl who got flustered by holding hands in public. She was oh so happy Karma couldn't read her mind or otherwise listen into her internal ramblings. For as much as she loved and trusted Karma, him poking around in her mind was not a thought she enjoyed. This lead her into a downward spiral of flustered break downs until she had nearly slid out of the throne herself, if not for Karma being there to stop her descent in all his adorable cat like glory. Of course her shifting movements did stir the red head as he slowly awoke from his slumber.

Seeing Shadow of all people a blushing mess was not a sight he saw often. But a welcomed one. "Hm? You okay Shads? You look extremely flustered." He pointed out.

(Y/N) just slid out of the throne, curled up, and died quietly in a ball.
Y'know, the usual Tuesday.
