Chapter 9: Everyday Life Of The Phantoms

Today's Meme: When someone messes with Shadow and she's to lazy to f*ck with them herself. 

Kayano and Nagisa were walking together. They had just gotten back from getting Kayano's pudding. When all of a sudden something grabbed Nagisa. The Taka Gang of Thieves. Luckily for Nagisa, Karma and Shadow just so happened to be stalking the two. 

~Your POV~

I hummed slightly walking out of the bushes with Karma in toe. I looked up at the four thieves and Nagisa had his eyes on me. "Karma..." I trailed off. I smirked evilly. "Sick em'." I said darkly with a chuckle in my voice. "On it." Karma responded. He got out his knives and jumped up. Proceeding to kick their a*ses and grab Nagisa. He even grabbed Kayano's pudding for her. After setting everything down he walked over to the thieves and their weird dragon thing with a smirk. "Anyone else? Cause trust me my friend over their is a lot stronger than I am." Karma said jabbing his thumb in my direction. I walked over. "Though if you wanted someone to challenge your dungeon so badly we'll be happy to come. You don't have to kidnap one of our teammates. Now off you go." I said shooing them off. "You okay Nagisa? That's the fifth attempted kidnapping plot that we've foiled in the past week." Karma said. "I'm fine. Thanks you two." The boy in question said. "You're not even concerned that they were stalking us?" Kayano questioned. "I've gotten used to it." Nagisa responded, sweat-dropping slightly. "Okay now Nagisa kiss Kayano." I said pulling out my phone. "WHAT WHY!?" Nagisa shouted. "Because I need pictures and this story needs more romance. Now do it." I deadpanned. "What?" Nagisa questioned. Both him and Kayano were blushing, then ran off. "Well d*mn I was looking forward to that." Karma said. "Welp let's gather the others and go on a dungeon raid, shall we?" I questioned. Karma smirked. "We shall." He said offering his hand to me. "Nice try devil but I ain't falling for that." I said walking away. "D*MNIT!" Karma shouted. 

~At the tower~

I stared at the giant shadowy place in confusion. "This...is a dungeon?" I questioned. "Apparently." Karma and the others deadpanned. "Such a rip off of Phantom Tower. I'm almost flattered." Ritsu said. I smirked. "Alright who wants to go in first?" I asked. Karma's hand shot up. "LET ME LET ME!" He shouted. I nodded. "So Karma's going in. Anyone care to go with him?" I asked. Asano nodded. "I'll do it." He said. "Right. Make sure he doesn't get to cocky or you know...get hit with something and flying through the wall, or falling down a trap door, or-." "We get it. I'm a walking disaster geez." Karma said cutting me off. "Don't cut me off." I growled. "SCARY!" They all shouted clinging to eachother. Shadow's stats have risen to Mad levels. "Now then." I said with a tick mark on my forehead. I tossed something at Karma. He caught it quickly. It was Koro-sensei, sealed in a magic item. "They said they wanted him so there you go. Use it as a bargaining chip just incase." I said. Karma smirked. "I know you like your back up plans but I don't think we'll be needing Koro-sensei. Especially since it looks like we're dealing with beginners." Karma said with a smirk. No washing basin. "It's good to be confident. Keep it that way." I said. He smirked a little more. "Alright then. Get a move on. And be quick about it. If you need help send for us." I said. "Got it. Come along Karma." Asano said walking inside. Karma had a tick mark on his forehead. "I don't take orders from you." He growled, following behind anyways. A few seconds later the rest of us heard screaming, shouting, and pleas for help. The other three sweat-dropped. "What is Karma doing in there?" They all questioned. "Living up to his name. Both of them." I answered simply. A few seconds later Karma and Asano came back out, and Koro-sensei looked worried. "That wasn't even a challenge. Geez." Karma said. Asano nodded. "Although I hate to admit it, he's right. Barely worth the effort." He said with a shrug. "Aw, was it really not fun at all? That's too bad." I said. "Anyways, now what do we do today?" Itona asked. "Hmmm." I hummed, starting to think. Shadow's stats have dropped to normal levels. "Oh I know!" I said. I smirked evilly. "Let's kidnap someone from E-class and have everyone go through the Phantom Tower." I said. Karma smirked evilly. "I like that idea." He said. Asano shivered. "Umm. I don't have to go through the floors again do I?" He questioned. "Nah. In fact your floor should be ready for you to design it by now." I said. I turned to Ritsu. "Nav give me the specks." I said. "Right away mistress." She said giving me a small salute. A map of Phantom Tower appeared on her screen. "Thanks to me and Shadow's creation magic we've been able to add another floor to Phantom Tower for the newest member of our ranks. It still has yet to be designed but we always leave that up to the Phantom that the floor is for." She explained. Everyone crowded around Ritsu to see the map. "Wow! Your floor is right under Karma's! You lucky b*stered!" Nagisa said excitedly. "That just means he's strong enough to classify as third strongest he still didn't beat me." Karma said while pouting. Asano looked deep in thought while everyone else was gushing about where he was ranked. "Wait a minute. So because I beat Nagisa but I didn't beat Karma I'm ranked as third strongest? Did I get that right?" Asano asked. "HELL YEAH YA DID!" I shouted, glad that he was getting used to it. "He still didn't beat me." Karma mumbled still pouting. "WE AIN'T SAYING HE DID FOOL!" Itona shouted. "Fool Arcana." I mumbled. "So anyways what does everyone want to do today? Dungeon exploring? Kidnap someone from E-class? I'm open to ideas." I said.
