4:10 a.m - La Gorce,
Miami, Florida"I'ma kill her." Brie states calmly taking a sip of the wine in her glass. Nodding, she slowly swallows the red liquor, talking to herself more. "Mhm, watch when her lil' ass gets back. Tearing that ass up."
Zayn sighs, checking the Black Apple watch on his left wrist. Zayn runs his hands over his face, wondering where the hell his daughter is at and how he's going to calm his wife down.
Even though she appears relaxed on the exterior he knows that she's fuming on the inside. Much like himself, Brie doesn't display her emotions, she keeps everything bottle up inside. This is unfortunaley a trait that has been passed along to all three of their children.
"Lemme call her one more time," Brie mumbles. Zayn watches her pick up her iPhone 8 and press the contact for their daughter. Just like the last three times, the call goes straight to voicemail. "I knew I shouldn't of let her go nowhere with that nigga. I could already tell he was no good from the moment he showed up. Who the hell comes to someone's house unannounced smelling like dope?" Brie rants, pouring more of the brown liquor into her glass.
She continues to rant to her husband, "He probably somewhere in the fucking hood turning my baby out." She throws the glass back, gulping down everything.
"Okay," Zayn finally says, reaching over the counter and grabbing the bottle before she can pour herself more wine. She's already filled it three and she was about to pour a fourth. Other than him not wanting his wife to get drunk, he doesn't want to hear anything about his only daughter being turned out.
To his knowledge, Lani is as pure as a saint. Never had sex, a kiss, touched sexually , never even thought about anything sexual. He has no idea that Lani just had her first experience with drugs.
Zayn walks around the island separating them and removes the glass from his wife's hand. "Let's go lay down, it's almost 4:30, Brie." He places the short glass in the dishwasher before leading them to their bedroom.
Since they're already in their night clothes, Zayn lays on the bed, waiting for Brie to follow.
"I'on know how you so calm right now." Brie huffs, getting under the blanket and laying on Zayns chest. "Our seventeen-year-old daughter is out at 4 in the morning and you actin' like nothing is wrong."
"I know my daughter. She wouldn't get herself into anything dangerous." Zayn says, trying to calm both of their nerves. Although he seems calm and collected, he is extremely worried about his daughter. It's not in her character to deliberately disobey her parents and break their rules, so Zayn can't help but wonder if everything is fine like he's trying to convince his spouse.
