Wally slowly opened the door to his home.
He nervously glanced around, before fully stepping inside.
He sighed in relief when he didn't see anyone.
Wally immediately tensed again and flinched when he heard someone's voice.
"Boy, is that you?!" The angry voice shouted.
Wally hesitated.
"Y-yes?" He asked, afraid he would say something wrong.
"Where have you been?!" The angry voice exclaimed.
"A-a-a-at the mountain, s-sir." Wally stuttered, mentally slapping himself for doing so.
The man growled angrily and stormed over to Wally.
The man was obviously drunk.
He swayed when he walked, and his eyes were bloodshot.
He reeked of beer.
"Well your late." The man said menacingly, clenching his teeth.
Wally flinched.
"S-sorry, sir." Wally responded, readying himself.
The man grunted.
He slapped Wally across the face.
"Go do your homework." The man grumbled, still upset. "I want all A's on your report card, or else."
"Y-y-yes s-sir!" Wally said, sprinting to his room.
Wally quickly shut his door, and sighed.
"I'm lucky it was only a slap." Wally thought. "Incredibly lucky. I must have caught him in a good mood."
He trudged over to his poor excuse for a desk, and pulled out his homework.

"Abuse?" The Flash asked, shocked.
"That's most likely the cause." Batman said.
"B-but that's impossible! I would have known if Wally was being abused!?" The Flash asked with a confused looking, grasping his head with his hand.
"Then you must have not noticed it." Batman simply stated, crossing his arms.
"T-then how are we going to prove it?" The Flash retorted, determined that Wally wasn't being abused. "You can't prove it."
Batman's face remained emotionless.
"You're right, I can't prove it." Batman said.
A smirk slowly grew on his face.
"Yet."
Flash eyed him suspiciously.
"What's that supposed to mean?" He asked.
"I propose we catch Wally's father in the act."
"And how do you suppose we do that?"
"We could host a party and invite them to it." Robin suggested, speaking up.
The Flash and Batman turned to Robin.
"It's a good idea, but how about something not so obvious?" Batman asked.
The three thought for a moment.
Robin's face lit up.
"Oh! I've got an idea!" Robin exclaimed.
The Dark Knight and the crimson speedster turned to Robin.
"Yes?" The Flash asked.
