27 . Presentation

The meeting was going to take place at SkyLight for the first time. Jeongyeon herself have passed by the building a few times, but she's never got the chance to look at what's inside. From the outside, it gave off an opulent, lavish vibe. SkyLight was white and blue like its name, and HydroGames' was black and orange. As a first impression, Jeongyeon only noticed the differences in their representative colors which was truthfully odd. They won't matter now that she's literally inside the company.

Nayeon and Jeongyeon were told to meet the Im's in SkyLight. Some employees didn't expect Yoo Jeongyeon to enter the building, curious murmurs and faces appeared in the corners.

"Is it your first time here?" Nayeon questioned the taller girl.

"Yes." Jeongyeon answered as if she was some kind of robot. Not a readable expression on her voice or straight face. The brunette didn't know if she was just trying to look composed towards the employees or if she was just like that in general. Jeongyeon was making her mad again.

Soon enough, they finally arrived at the elevator to reach the top of the floor. Nayeon began to feel hesitant with her actions as she continued to walk through the hallway. She started to have second thoughts about her decision. Could she work under her strict working parents?

Images of her mom and dad's frowns in their offices at home appeared in her mind. She wasn't going to be treated as a daughter, but an actual employee. She huffed in annoyance. As their child, she should be at least treated differently.

"Are you okay?" Jeongyeon asked after hearing the unexpected loud sigh.

"Huh?" The brunette obliviously tilted her head in confusion. She stared unknowingly towards the blonde until she finally snapped out of her mind. "Oh yeah, of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?" she rambled.

"I just assumed you were nervous." Jeongyeon observed. There it is again, thought Nayeon. From a robot and then to a normal human being who can suddenly tell how she's feeling. Nayeon chose to say nothing after that since they were already standing in front of the meeting room, where people already awaited the two.

Entering the room was awkward for Nayeon since it was the first time a lot of high-classed business workers stared at her. Jeongyeon on the other hand found it too casual as she deliberately sat on one of the empty seats on the side of the long table. Nayeon also managed to sit down without letting herself look awkward or clumsy. Thus with the eyes attentively locked towards the two, the meeting began to proceed. Everyone's attention soon averted towards Jinsu–who sat far across from Jeongyeon. He wore his usual classy suit that displayed professionalism at work.

"We are currently at the point of this project where we can finally put ideas into action." Jinsu stated right off the bat, "But let's not begin without the introduction of those who actually formed this proposal for us." The older man paused for a slight moment while glancing at the eye-catchers of the room. "Please welcome Im Nayeon and Yoo Jeongyeon."

The resonance of polite claps erupted. No one ever guessed the CEO of HydroGames would step foot inside their company. This was also the first time employees with higher roles at SkyLight observe Nayeon as a rumored successor of the firm.

The petite brunette charmingly smile as she stood up along with Jeongyeon. They both bowed at the same time, but the Im's daughter spoke first.

"Nice to meet you everyone, my name is Im Nayeon. I'm glad to have this opportunity to showcase my abilities for the company, I hope you all take care of me today." Nayeon respectfully addressed. Her formal greeting almost threw off her parents' nonchalant expressions. They knew she had capabilities, but the fact that their daughter did her introduction smoothly made them feel pure relief. Perhaps it also gave them confidence with their own child.
