Back in Sophie's bedroom, no time had passed at all. Time had frozen while they were gone. Sophie hugged all of her Furbys and welcomed them back. Dylan went to continue his math homework, and Bailey turned to Sophie.
"Play with your Furbys every day if you want to," she said. "But they won't turn evil again, remember? We disabled that setting," Sophie replied.
"I know," said Bailey. "But they make you happy."
"I thought you said they were for babies," said Sophie.
"I did," replied Bailey. "But they're special and you love them. You hold on to them for as long as you want."
Sophie smiled.
