Chapter 6- Get out of my HEAD!!!

As we walked out of the residential halls, Elisa and Danielle just looked at each other, then looked at me, and then foreward again. As I went to speak.

"So where is-"  I got cut off by Danielle

" So you and Kian huh?" I could feel my face changing to red and burning up like the devil inside. "LUCY YOU HAVE TO CALM DOWN" I told myself. My body listened, my face started to turn back to its pale white self.

"Shh!" I heard Elisa say in a whisper towards the golden haired girl. I looked at her "Sorry, Danielle can be-" she paused and got really loud as if she wanted Danielle to hear " A BIT OF AN AIRHEAD" I laughed actually all of us did. As we walked towards Dairy Queen, which was only 2 blocks away, the sun was beating down. I could feel my eyes burning. I am used to hot. I used to swim in lava for fun. But the sun is different. As I tried to cover my eyes with my hands, Danielle pulled out some sunglasses.

"Here these help." She handed them to me. They had very dark tinted glass. With purple and baby blue rims in the shape of tiger stripes. I put them on. They helped a lot.

"Thanks" I smiled as the words came out. For once I was actually happy.She looked at me, showed a smile then looked back toward the path ahead.

Once we got to Dairy Queen we decided to eat inside. Thank you. I couldn't stand being outside another minute. There were so many different types of ice cream. I asked for chocolate ripple, Dani(Danielle said I could call her that) ordered strawberry, and Elisa was really craving pistachio.

"I'll pay" I told them. After I told them, I actually chevked and I didn't have enough money.

" No I will" I was so happy, I didn't even know who said it at first. I eventually realized its was Elisa. I walked up to the cash with her. That was a bad idea. I noticed that the cashier was Jeremy.(in case you forgot, he was the one who sent me that love letter.)

"Oh hey Lucy!" Oh crap here we go again. I said nothing and just walked back to the table where Dani was waiting.

When Elisa returned we talked about stuff, and then stupidly, I brought up Kian.

"So what is up with you and Kian?" Danielle asked again. I didn't really mind telling her and Elisa, maybe they could help me figure out what's going on. I explained about the wobbly knees and the butterflies in my stomach. I told them that I was worried when he wasn't around. Elisa and Danielle were really good listeners. I liked that about them. Neither of the two laughed or made fun of me, they just soaked in every word I spoke.

"And I don't know why that is happening to me." I had a really confused look on my face when I spoke those last few words. At the exact same time, as if they had practicing for years they both said.

"You and Kian are in love." What?! That can't be possible. But if every book and everyone tells me that, can it actually be true?
