Part 4

"Jennifer get your fat assets out of your room now!"

It's Leah, she's been knocking on my door for an hour now. And it's been 2 days that I haven't gone out of my house. I don't want to see or even talk to anyone.

"I know you're in there." she yelled.

I sighed standing up to open the door.  She's already irritating me. 

"You look like a mess." yeah coz I am. "What happened?"

I laid down the bed, pulling the blanket up to my chin.

"It's Gino isn't it?" I slowly nodded. "Spill it."

What am I going to say? That he doesn't want me near him? That he doesn't want me at all?!

"He's an asshole." I whispered in the verge of my cry. "He yelled at me Leah. I just want to help!"

"It's fine he's not worth it anymore. Jennifer there are too many men out there running after you, trying to chase you. Just open your eyes and heart for another chance honey."

I just looked at her and took a deep breath. She's right. I have to give chance to others.

"Let's get out of here." I finally smiled.

"Oh god finally! The Jennifer I know is alive now."

She threw me a pillow and I heard Jace calling my name. I just remembered hell be here for a week because James and Bella are going to have e their romantic week and Bali.

Mom and dad are even busy on business trip so I'll be his baby sitter.

"We can go out, but Jace is coming with us."

Leah smiled and nodded. "I would love that. He's the cutest kid ever!" Oh yes he is!

Me and Leah went downstairs to meet them.

"Aunt Jennifer." Jace looks at me from head to toe. "You look... You look like a mess." I widened my eyes, Leah James and Bella just laughed.

"Funny guys, funny!"

James then handed me Jace's bag. "Enjoy your honeymoon." I rolled my eyes off of them both.

"I'm serious JLo." James ruffled my already messed up hair.

"Okay don't worry. Jace is in good hands." I then smirked and laughed. "Hmm maybe."

"No souvenirs for you then." he poked my forehead and pushed it a little bit. What a jerk brother!

"Whatever. I'm hoping there will be a lite girl when you come back." I touched Bella's tummy.

"Oh Jennifer, I hope you too."

Oh, wait for nothing.

"You wish Bella! Find her a man first." Leah teased.

They are really such a jerk!

"Aunt Jennifer I want ice cream."

No, we haven't eaten lunch yet so no ice cream.

"Jace, how about lunch first before ice cream?" I leaned down to his level, talking him off about the ice cream.

"But I want ice cream now." he's nearly throwing tantrums!

"I will buy you ice cream if you'll listen to your aunt Jennifer." Leah butts is.

"Okay."

Oh thank god!

"Good boy. Now hold my hand and let's go eat because I'm famished." I reached his hand as he held mine and we walked to the food court nearby.

"Aunt Jennifer, aunt Leah why don't you have husband? My mommy has my daddy and they are going out together."

Leah and I looked at each other.

"You know Lopez jr. we did have boyfriends but they left us for another girl."  Leah explained, I'm just here eating.

"Did uncle Gino leave you for another girl?" Jace looked back at me.

I took a deep breath caressing his hair.

"He told me he loves you tho." I closed my eyes wishing that's true.

"Baby there are so many complicated things to handle right now."

"Right. So just eat your ice cream before it melts." I looked at Leah, she just winked at me.

After eating lunch, we went to my store to get some clothes for Jace because he has few clothes in my house.

As Leah and I looking for ours, we josh heard Jace yell... "Uncle Gino!"

I dropped the items and immediately checked, because what if Jace is just mistaken a man for Gino? And it's impossible for him to go in here.

"Jace stop. Gino isn't here." I said looking around to see if Gino is really here.

"Um actually Jennifer, he's here."

Leah said pointing out the store.

I see Gino with a girl.

My heart suddenly breaks.

"Okay just don't call him. Jace stop calling him. Please?"

He just shrugged his shoulders and sat back down waiting for me and Leah to be finished.

Is he really moved on? Or is he just playing around like he played me?

"Aunt Jennifer I'm sleepy." he said.

"Let me carry your bag, carry him." Leah suggested. I carried Jace and we finally went home.

Monday morning back to work and that means I'll be seeing Gino the whole day. But I have Jace with me so maybe he doesn't bother me that much.

Jace run towards the runway and played with my staff, I won't be worrying because he's close to them. I looked around then something popped jnskde my head.

I called their attention and we gathered in the center.

"Listen up team. We should be ready a week before the show. Because I am thinking that we should go on a 3 day vacation before the show starts and a week after."

They all said yes and excitedly agreed.

"Where are we going?" Ronnie asked.

"First and Miami, second is a week vacation at Maldives."

Oh Maldives, this is where Gino and I should spend our anniversary but guess what,  shut happened.

I then heard a loud laugh and the next think I saw it Jace sitting on Gino's shoulders.

"Aunt Jennifer, I'm taller that you now." Jace proudly said.

"Baby you are going to fall." I said concerned though I know Gino is holding him tight.

Ronnie then cleared her throat. "Big baby or small baby?" she smirked.

I just shook my head.

"He's not gonna fall Jennifer, he's safe with me."

Gino winked at me that made my heart melt and could make my pus—never mind, I am so still mad and at the same time confused as hell.

"Can u clean Gino and I go to the park?"
Why Jace why?!

"No baby, you can't. I promised to your daddy that you can't go anywhere without me."

He pouted and made a sad face.

"Come with us then Jennifer."

But...

"I'm busy."

I looked at Ronnie, she looked at me back. "Don't worry I can handle this pressure here." she winked at me.

"Please aunt Jennifer."

OMG this kid is so spoiled!!!

"Okay fine. I'm coming. I'm just going to get my phone."

Maybe this time, Gino and I could talk.
