"I'm applying to be your model." no you're not. "Oh, maybe you're following one of your girls here. Or maybe you came here to fuck around." He gave me a look.

"Is that what you really think I am? Jennifer I know I screwed up okay? But I am not a fucker anymore."

There's a silence for a while.

"You're good at running your restaurant tho." I tried talking as friendly as I can.

"I got bored and-"

"Like you got bored while you're still with me?" he was about to speak but he couldn't. "Ugh, you know what, save it. I'm hiring you because we are really in need of a male model. I'll call Ronnie back for the signing of contract and everything."

O called Ronnie and she immediately took Gino away from me.

Oh god finally I can breathe now.

I looked at Gino's portfolio and his cell umber, he changed it? But it looks familiar. I immediately look my phone and—it matched! He owned the unknown number who texted me yesterday!  Now maybe he's trying to reconnect with me, that's why today her here. Maybe I should give him a chance but I am still broken.

He broke me and my virginity!

"Oh my God Leah! I need to tell you something! You won't believe it."

She threw me a spill-it-now look.

"Okay so Gino applied as a model and I hired him."

She spat her drink right in front of my direction.

"What the fuck Lee?!" I screamed making everyone in the diner pay their attention to me.

"I'm really sorry Jenny but, seriously?! I thought you're getting over him?"

That's what I thought so but... "We are urgently in need of a model. He's perfect for the fashion show next month because he looks so good." up better than the last time j saw him. "And he's sexy and–"

"And he's good in bed. Add it up." I couldn't help but laugh. "That's true."

"Do you still crave for him?"

Uhmnnn...

"Yeah sometimes. I don't know why. Leah it's so hard to move on." I sighed looking out the window. "I miss him."

Back to the office...

Trying to sketch the last 2 gowns. I couldn't take him out of my mind. I need him, I want him...oh shit!

He doesn't even feel the same way anymore so screw this and move on!

"Listen up people."I called their attention by clapping my hands. "We are down to last line and I want it to be perfect."

Not that perfect perfect, they knew it.

"Who is walking last again?" Anna raised her hand. "Please come to my office later we are going to talk about something." she nodded her head and smiled, of course I smiled back as I always do.

"Back to being busy. And oh you can all go home at 4 today."

We scattered and I walked back to my office.

There's a set of knock on my door.

"Please come in." John appeared panting. "What happened?" I asked nervously because I know something is up.

"Ma'am it's Gino."

When I heard his name, my heart suddenly beats so fast. I stood up and ran to where he is.

"What happened?!"

I couldn't think what to do.

"Please call an–"

"Ambulance. Excuse me ma'am we will take him to the hospital now."

"I'm coming." I climbed inside the ambulance—holding Gino's hand. Praying he's going to be alright.

"He's gonna be okay right?" I asked the medics. "We will do everything to save him ma'am." I prayed and prayed until we got to the hospital.

"Please do everything you can to save him." I can't lose him... I lost him once, I am not gonna lose him again this time.

"Ma'am please just wait on the waiting area for a moment." I breathed then obeyed.

"Jennifer." it's Ronnie. I couldn't help it, I leaned my head to her shoulder then cried.

"Ronnie what happened?"

She started telling me.

"We were just having a funny mugshots when suddenly he fainted. It's too sudden."

We waited for the result until...

"He's okay now. We transferred him to room 209. You can go see him now."

Oh thanks God!

"Thank you, thank you so much."

"Hey how are you feeling?" I asked as I'm walking towards him.

"I'm better now that you're here."

He tried to smile too deep inside he is in so much pain.

"Gino we need to talk." my voice cracked, stopping my tears to flow down my cheeks.

I know this conversation will break me—us.

"Why didn't you tell me about this?" there I asked him straight.

"Jennifer please stop." he snapped.

"No Gino, I need to know why!"

"There's nothing to know okay? So please stop."

I couldn't help it. My tears started dropping down my face.

"Don't cry for me Jennifer please. I don't wanna see you cry."

He shifted so now his back is facing me.

"Gino..."

I heard him sniffed.

"This is not the right time to talk Jennifer."

Why not?! I need to know. I have the right to know.

"You always push me away. Gino I am still your friend and–" he cut me off.

"Yeah friend. So if you don't mind. Give me time alone and get out of here!"

I was taken aback when he said that.

"Please let me help." I tried.

"You've helped enough. Out!" he yelled so loud making me jump. What is happening to him?

"Gino..."

"Jennifer get out! Please!" I gave up.

It's clear that he doesn't want me here. He doesn't even care that I care.

So I walked away from the room, leaving him quietly.
