A/N: 1:15am release because why not. So fantastic, back in the cell, again. A couple days pass during this chapter, but no more than that. This is our last chapter without Loki as a focal point, and I do think you guys will really like the first half of the book when we get to revealing stuff... I've said to much. ANYWAYS, I'm excited to announce that I am catching up on the chapters I am writing and they are FLYING by. I'm currently finishing chapter 14, chapter 13 by far my favorite chapter to write so far. I will be alternating in chapter releases: every other week is a Tuesday and Thursday release, otherwise it's a Wednesday release. I'll announce when this changes! As always, enjoy ^_^

There was no reference of time when she was in the cell. She could see now, when she had first released Loki, how much he had missed seeing the gold glitter off the city when the sun rose. She gathered by the meal she was receiving that it was still morning, but obviously not as early as she normally awoke.
The musty smell of the dungeons reminded her just how much she had hated this place and to think she was back again, it made her wince inwardly. Pain shot up her side when she moved. The arrow hadn’t pierced anything serious but it definitely stung and would bruise over later. The poison was racing through her system, but it was hardly noticable in the wake of everything else. The main door opened the moment she awoke, Skrímsli walking as if he had anticipated when she would wake up.
“Good morning Lady Sigyn, how are you feeling?”
“Much better, thank you for asking Sir Skrímsli. To what do I owe this pleasure?”
The guard motioned for the prison guards to open the door to her cell, allowing him to step in. He produced a new dress, bandages and some medicine for the pain. The dress was emerald, a soft yet brilliantly bright shade like the grass. Looking around, she was rudely reminded that she had nowhere to change, as glass-like panels surrounded all the room providing no privacy. Her eyes shifted towards the door as another item was being brought out, a black dressing screen.
“Your hearing will be within the hour. Véar will be here shortly to change your dressings and help you prepare for the hearing. I will return when the All-Father calls for you.”
Sigyn’s head drooped a bit and small nod given; she understood the weight of today’s verdict. Why did it feel worse than before? And worse yet, why did it feel like Skrímsli was more torn up about this situation than she was? Pushing that thought aside, she looked up to meet the guards blue-green eyes, giving him a smile.
“Thank you Sir Skrímsli, I shall await Véar and see you soon.”
The guard departed without another word, leaving Sigyn to run her hands over her new dress and await Véar. It wasn’t bad to be alone; in fact she usually enjoyed it. Perhaps that’s why she and Hogun always got along. He was a man of few words, and when he did speak, the words were always insightful. Volstagg was the loud one of the group; perhaps that’s why he and Thor got along so well; using brute strength rather than relying on brains.
“Deep in thought my friend?”
Véar stepped into the cell, holding a bag that contained makeup, jewelry and of course, pins to hold her hair in place as the braid she had in currently was coming undone.
“Véar.” Sigyn stood, as she had been sitting on the bed while dwelling upon these thoughts, and wrapped her arms around Véar.
The smiles didn’t fade from either of their faces when the parted, Véar’s small ebony fingers plucking at Sigyn’s slightly tattered dress.
