A/N: Many of you ask what my music inspirations are to write this story, I've decided to make a playlist on Grooveshark which you can find here (also posted a link on my profile you can click straight through):

http://grooveshark.com/#!/playlist/Pure+Illusion+Series+The+Soundtrack/100678372

Feel free to jam along as you read, or cry. They're all angsty songs and I WILL add songs that are pivotal to the story as they become available/used during this book. Like todays song is by far a favorite that describes them so beautifully. Other than that, this chapter is really long so lets get to it! Lot of information in this chapter, lots of fluff and lots of tears, yay! Chapter 16 is one of my favorites... Can't wait! See you all Friday, enjoy!

The night carried on in one of laugher, annoying laughter in Loki’s opinion, and many pints of alcohol. Myndéa’s mother had retired early and let the three remain in the kitchen area. Myndéa had drunk at least five cups of the beverage and Sigyn one, while Loki had refrained from drinking at all, claiming to not have been in the mood.

The girl’s began to slow down in their never ending banter, the talks becoming fewer and Myndéa’s words began slurring together. Loki didn’t like the way her eyes glided over him. He could see her take a peek at him from time to time, though his gaze was only on Sigyn, drinking in her every laugh and every smile. It wasn’t until he saw Myndéa standing, taking a couple lit candles that he took notice to how late it was.

“Please allow me to show you to your rooms.”

Loki and Sigyn stood at the same time, the god motioning the blonde to go first through the hallway as he followed. Myndéa lead the way down the small hallway, stopping at a closed door to which she opened and handed Sigyn her lit candle.

“It is probably not as grand as you have on Asgard, but I hope it will suffice for your time here Sigyn.” The blonde nodded, stepping in and looking around the room with her candle in hand. It had a small bed and a bedside table. It was dusty and looked unused, but it was cozy and reminded Sigyn of her home here in Vanaheim.

“As for you,” Myndéa continued, looking to Loki this time. “You can stay in my room with me, I’m sure the bed is… sturdy enough for the both of us. Do you care to join me?” Her hazel eyes gleamed with lust, her hand tracing over Loki’s armor that covered his chest.

The god stared at Myndéa as if what she was suggesting was such a foreign thing. Instead, he looked to Sigyn, who at this point had noticed her friend’s advancement and seemed taken aback. Her eyes were caught swimming in Loki’s when she summoned the courage to look up at his face.

‘Love looks with the eyes and not with the mind’ ” The Prince replied in a whisper, Sigyn's stifled laugh was music to his ears.

“Pardon me?” Myndéa slurred

“If it is alright with you, I would prefer to stay with Sigyn tonight. She gets awful nightmares and often requires comforting in the middle of the night; I could not bear to leave her alone.”

Myndéa huffed, more upset that she had been turned down by the handsome, elusive and nameless Prince that she took no notice to the way that he was looking at Sigyn. Rolling her eyes she turned on her heel and threw her hands up.

“Fine whatever your name is!" She huffed again. "You two better not wake me up!” And with that she slammed the door at the end of the hall, a click coming as it locked shortly after that.
