Third Person P.O.V
Ash Ketchum walks into his new school, attracting every girl in his sight. He didn't look up and continued to walk his way to class. That's when it happened. A girl came running and accidentally bumped into him. "Sorry" she says. Ash said nothing and then looked up. And the very moment he met her eyes, painful memories flooded his mind. He fell backwards and stumbled till he fell down the stairs. And then he fainted.
Next thing you know, the sound of sirens filled the streets.
The ambulance came to a stop as they reached the hospital. "He has got a broken hand and he seems to have damaged his ribs. This could take a while" The doctor said to the teachers there after examining him. And then Ash was taken to the operations division of the hospital to fix up his broken bones.
Ash P.O.V
I woke up surrounded by police officers and doctors. I was weak but I could here some words. "Hurt... Sad past... Gifted child... Very... Unexpected... Don't know why...". The moments from before came back to me. And those painful memories fogged my mind once again.
Flashback
"Mom! Dad!" I called out cheerfully as I entered the house. "I'm back from-" I continued to call out but what I saw next made me stop. I was scared stiff. Dad was dead on the ground. And a masked girl of around the same age as me ( assuming from the height ) stood in front of my father... With a knife covered in blood. Behind her were two adults ( also assuming from the height ). Probably her parents, They were also masked. They turned to look at me. For a moment I met the girls eyes. And then I knew who she was "Se-Serena?" I managed to stammer. She didn't care. And then she killed my mother (Delia was tied up). I stared in horror at the blade she was holding as it came out of my mother's corpse. "Kill the boy" One of the people behind her tells her. She looked at me in the eye. And then she lifted her knife. She hesitated for a moment. That was all the time I needed. I ran away. I forgot Only to be caught by her. She pushed me toward a corner as she lifted her knife once more. She let a tear escape her eyes and I closed my eyes. And then she brought it down on my neck. But before the bloody knife could take my life the other masked people grabbed her and ran away. "ASH!" I heard uncle Red call out to me. After that I fainted.
End of Flashback
My brain rummaged through my memories. Yes. It was her. Serena. Serena Yvonne. She was once my best friend, but now she is my biggest enemy. No words in this world could describe my hatred towards her.
Serena P.O.V
"So what happened?" My mother asks me. "I don't know for sure" I reply, putting my bag on a chair. "I heard you made a boy faint. His name was Ash Ketchum from what I know" She replies. "Oh... That was that boy. You know. What happened 5 years ago?" I answer. My mother nods. And then she got a call. "Gotta go honey. Got some business to take care of" She says before leaving. Ash is here. I thought. Will I even be able to face him after what I did all those years ago?
