No One P.O.V
"FOCUS!" The voice repeated. Ash finally opened his eyes. He focused. And focused. Until the voice completely disappeared. Ash came to his senses. The world looked extremely different. He could see. He could SEE. He could see people, important objects and locks. He could see through walls and doors. He could see his allies and enemies. He could see the trail left by the van. He could see it all. Ash attempted to run after the trail. Everything turned back to normal. he could no longer see the trail.
"Yeah, right. Focus" He said to himself as he realized that it was beyond human capabilities to focus properly while running. But then again, this "focus vision" isn't exactly something all humans can do. He focused again. But then he caught sight of something else. Some red figures, sneaking around, not far from his house. His instincts awoke. An enemy was attempting to break into his territory. Not gonna happen.
Meanwhile, Serena's mother had sent her with a rank-2 task force of 4 soldiers to retrieve the file. The plan was simple. 3 of them stayed guard while Serena and the other person search the house for the file. What they hadn't predicted was Ash, sitting casually at the sofa while slurping down a vanilla milkshake.
Serena and the task force stopped in their tracks. They were on the roof of a building, not far from the Ketchum's residence. Serena took out a strange looking binocular. She played around with a dial on the binocular to turn on heat vision, and looked through. There was only one figure in the house. She tried to make out who it was. But she couldn't. "Who's that?" She asked as she shoved the binoculars into the hands of the leader of the task force. She looked through the binoculars. "Looks like Red Ketchum. He retired 10 years ago. Shouldn't be a problem ma'am" The soldier replied. "Alright. You deal with him first and then help me with the search" Serena replied before disappearing.
Ash sat on his sofa, still slurping down the last of his milkshake. He sensed the 'enemies' getting near. "Why do drinks always run out when something cool's gonna happen?" He complained (to the author, not me. I am just the narrator) while putting the glass down on a table next to the sofa. He sighed as he lay down on the sofa. That's when he saw it a shadow dashed past his window. Ash jolted up from the sofa, just in time to defend himself as someone threw a punch at him. The soldier was masked. The outfit seemed almost familiar... but Ash didn't have time to think as another punch was thrown at him. Out of instinct, Ash somehow blocked the punches. He realized this but didn't wait to think twice about it. With the help of a few simple moves, Ash was now behind his attacker. With his attacker now thrown off guard Ash delivered a deadly blow to the spine of his opponent.
The soldier fell to the ground. Ash wasn't quite sure weather the person was dead or just unconscious. But he didn't care. With one obstacle out of the way, Ash took his time to observe his surroundings. That's when he saw it-someone was in his room.
