"Are you sure Caroline wont mind? She was tired?" Trudy asks from the cart.
"No, she won't mind, she wants to go see the fireworks tonight. So we'll just go tonight. She won't mind at all"
"I dont know why any of you would want to watch them. Their damn loud and dangerous!" Chris says from behind the cart.
I laugh "I thought you said the town was boring and you missed danger?"
"Well yeah! But there not the kinda dangerous I want!"
*bang*
... I look back towards the town "they wouldn't be going off yet would they?" Daniel asks Thomas looks back to.
"No..."
"Maybe it was an accident let off while they get ready?"
No, I dont think so. I thrust my hips making Bree head on
"Sam?"
I dont answer back. I just... I have the worst feeling in my chest!
As soon as I get to the ranch I see the horses. No! No! Caroline!
I jump down and run to the house, just as the front door opens and a man steps out "you must be Sam?"
I stare at him "where's my wife?"
He laughs "the pretty one... Yeah... I think we can call it even once you die. I won't kill the maid"
"Where's my wife?"
He shrugs "I guess you'll see her real soon"
What?! No! No! "Caroline..."
"Oh! So that was her name! Well! Rosie's ok, so... I hope that reassures you!"
My knees buckle under me and I growl through my tears "I'm going to kill you"
"What?" He laughs "your going to do shit! Looks like she was real important to ya!"
I get to my feet and throw my fist at him.
*bang*
Damn! I grab my leg, feeling the blood seep into my trousers
I pull my gun and shoot the man from the door. Watching him slump to the ground.
I turn back to the arsehole who's staring at me "what will be going on your damn grave stone?!"
He laughs "William... William Thomas if you really must know" he looks me over "you've got a good hand you know... Theres nothing left for you here now! Why dont you just put your gun down? I can forgive all... We'll take that pretty maid of yours. And we can just share her"
"You won't touch Rosie!" I growl
He smiles "trust me... I'm going to enjoy touching Rosie"
I swing again and this time I'm swung back at.
*bang*
*bang* the post beside me is hit and I duck. Looking at Chris run into the ranch "Sam! Get Caroline!"
I fall back against the fence "Rosie... Theres only Rosie..."
He stares at me and his chest starts going heavy. Looking back at the house "we're going to kill them! Get up!" What's the point? "Get up! Now!"
He was right, theres nothing for me now. Caroline... My, Caroline...my baby...
I stand up and walk towards the house. Im getting my wife.
My body gets barged into heavily, throwing me to the ground.
*bang*
"What the hell do you think your doing!" Daniel grabs my shirt and drags me to the side of the house "Did you think you could just walk in there and-"
"She's dead... She's gone"
He stares at me "Sam... You need to avenge her... Find your justice!"
My justice... Why?
But I nod and stand "where's Trudy?"
"We heard the shots. Thomas is keeping her from the house. He'll be here soon! How many?"
"I dont know... Ive seen 3 in the windows. One called William, I dont know what happened to him"
I pull my gun and run back to Chris "what's the plan?"
"Rosie's in there... We have to get her out" I cant leave her in there.
Crashing and glass smashing has me look up. Hearing screams and shouts from the house. God damn it! I look back at them "sooner rather than later"
Daniel looks back "were going in"
I look at the hut and run over to it. Taking one of the whiskey bottles "no... Well bring them out"
I tear my shirt putting it into the bottle. Taking a match from behind Chris's ear and lighting it.

"Sam.... Sam, Sam! No!"

Throwing it up Into the house.
"Sam! Rosie's in there!"
"They'll bring her out! Get ready" I get my pistols out and aim to the door. I hear the animals panic as the fire starts growing up the front of the house.
"Shit!"
"What do we do!"
"William!"
"Sam!"
I freeze my blood going cold. They both look over at me... I didnt imagine it... "Caroline... Caroline?!"
"Sam!" I jump over the fence and run at the house.
"Sam! No!" Shouts from behind me. But she's alive! I heard her!
I bust through the door nearly falling over a body. But I look up at the living room. Letting 2 bullets off. Catching both men. The fire in the dining room starting to eat away at the house "Caroline?!" I step into to living room and look at Rosie lying in her back with a bullet in her forehead. Blood flows down her eyes to the floor... I run through to the kitchen
*bang* I chuck myself behind the wall... He's by the sink... I throw my arm around and imagine the kitchen. Shooting and hearing the moan and something falling "Caroline?!" Where's she gone?! I heard her! They have her!
*bang* "sam?!"
Daniel coughs as he rushes over to me "Sam! Its going up quick! We need to hurry up!" I know
i hear the stairs and run at them. A gun being pointed at me but I push his arm away. The bullet going into the wall. He hits me in the nose knocking me back and hitting my head on a cabinet. Daniel hits him and he stumbles into the flames, falling back and he screams. Hearing him beg for help. His agonising screams as he starts running out the house. His entire body glowing with fire.
Daniel looks at me looking terrified.
"They can only be upstairs..."

"Daniel... Get out..." he stares at me and shakes his head "youre doing something with your life! Keep doing it!" I push him towards the door Chris is at, blinking back away from the flames that at eating the door "Get him out!"
"No! No! Sam! No!" Daniel screams and fights against Chris but Chris nods and drags him away "Sam! No! Sam dont do this!"
"I have to get her out..."
"I love you! I'm sorry! I'll be better! Sam please!"
I smile back at him "look after them" I run up the stairs. Pointing my gun into the rooms before I go in them. Shooting more that look like their trying to control the flames coming through the floor.
The sound if glass smashing and creaking, wood snapping heavily come through the house. I look at our room and step in. Williams stood at the window looking out at the farm. I look to the bed where Caroline's lying with blood coming from her head... Caroline?!
"You know... When I was told how you killed 6 of my men... I wasnt quite expecting... Well this!" He laughs "I was expecting some gun slinger who just keeps to himself, but not you... Look here! You got a good set up! I'll give it to you!"
"We can talk, or you can let me get my wife out of here and we can do this man to man"
He laughs "oh shit! I guess I was wrong... So you haven't only got a good set up... You Got a god damn, near perfect wife! And I thought that other women was pretty... I just figured she had the rings on and this little... Well... This little angel didnt" Rosie had rings on?
"Thomas! Hes inside!" I hear shouting from outside. You god damn, stay out there!
"Let me get her out of here"
"She uh... She's brave. She was well damn hidden, I'll give her that! I wouldn't have thought to look where she was... But uh... She got out to help that... Women downstairs" Rosie? "And she's with Child I noticed"
I look down at her and her groaning as she reaches for her head "sam?!"
"Sounds like I'm not getting out of here either way... But! If you mean it. Man to man... Well we better get out this damn-"
*bang* he flinches and looks down at him ribs. Blood flowing down the right side of his body. I pull my gun and shoot him before he reaches for his gun.
I turn to Caroline who just stares at where he stood. Gun still in her hands shaking. Her eyes wide and pouring. I run over to her and grab her arms "we need to get out of here!" I cough and look back in the hall, seeing the flames start to crawl up the stairs... Damn it!
I smash the window and look down " your going to have to trust me" I take her waist and pull her to the window, but she just looks at the floor. Reaching down and putting her fingers at the blood of his shirt "I killed him... I killed him!"
"No! I killed him! We can do this as soon as were outside! We need to get out!" She stares at me blankly "listen carefully, your going to climb out this window and I'm going to lower you down. Alright?"
She just nods "what about you?! I won't leave you up here?!"  She grabs my shirt desperately
I take her face in my hand. Sweat from the heat of the place soaking her "I will come as soon as your on the ground! The second your feet land on the ground!"
She nods and I help her up to the window. Helping her put her leg over and look down "oh god!"
"Just look at me!" I take her face and kiss her heavily "you can do this baby"
She breaths deep and kiss me again "I'll see you down there" I nod and take her wrists
"Hold on as tight as you can! I'll get you as low as I can! But you'll need to land sweetheart!"
"I'm here Sam! I got her!" I hear Chris shout.
I gulp and smile down at her. Lowering her down the house as slow as I can. Holding her weight and she cries and keeps looking up at me "your-"
The floor slides beneath my feet and coming away from me and I see her eyes go wide. The window Ceil digging into my chest. Feeling my ribs crunch. I groan and look at her "Chris..."
"No! Sam!" I let go and without her weighing me on the Ceil. I fall
