I just need a drink and some sleep after the day I've had,I parked my car and noticed Taraji is also here. Which reminded me that I forgot to fetch Brook from school but I'm pretty she was glad to call Taraji to come get her from school.

I walked in and both of them were in the kitchen having pizza and something to drink

Terrence:Hello
Brook:Hi Daddy
Taraji:Mhhh

????

Brook:I'll go eat in my room and thanks for forgetting me dad
Terrence:I'm sorry baby I think I misplaced my phone
Brook:Taraji has it with her

Brook went upstairs and I took her seat next to Taraji

Terrence:Baby?
Taraji:Mhh
Terrence:Are you okay?
Taraji:Mhhh

Is she gonna give me this "mhh" answer the whole time ?

Terrence:I can tell something is up so just tell me what's bothering you
Taraji:Nothing is bothering I just had a long day so I'm tired and I have a headache
Terrence:Baby are you sure?
Taraji:Yeah I'm sure, I have to go

She closed what was left of the pizza and placed the glass in the sink

Terrence:So you not even gonna give me a kiss?

She gave me a quick peck on the cheek then left

11:55am

This is one of our busy days of the week so I'm just trying to get everything before we reach our deadline. I haven't spoken to Terrence today he called last night and I just let it ring because I don't want to speak to him because I'm still angry,I just sent him a text this morning that my phone was on silence and that I'll be busy today so I can't see him,it is partly true but I'm ignoring because of the text I saw and I can't actually believe that he is two timing me. I'm falling for him and I trust him but I just don't know...
To think today marks a month since him and I have been dating but I just...

Marlo:You got a package Ms Henson
Taraji:From?
Marlo: special delivery probably from your man

I opened the box and it had a box if chocolates with red roses  and a small box from Tiffany & Co which contained diamond studded earrings and a card.

Hope you feel better than yesterday,call me when you get the time

Marlo:OMG he is so romantic and those must have costed a fortune.

I just moved the whole box to the side and continued to focus on my work,Marlo shut the door and sat on the chair facing me

Marlo:Taraji?
Taraji:What Marlo?
Marlo:Are you and Terrence okay?
Taraji:Yea

She shut my laptop close and looked at me

Marlo:Talk to me
Taraji:Terrence has a girlfriend,her name is Michelle and he doesn't know that I know about her.
Marlo:What?
Taraji:He forgot his phone at my place and when I fetched his daughter it kept on beeping and I open and it was her telling him she is In town and lonely he should come to her
Marlo:Wow I can't believe it,Terrence doesn't look like the type to cheat or anything. Maybe you should talk to him and let him know that you saw the text message
Taraji:I just need some time to cool off then talk to him
Marlo: Damn but if he is buying you earrings worth a million because he feels guilty then gurl you better hear him out.
Taraji:Marlo he could give me the world on a platter and I would still feel the same way I do, I don't need material things and I thought Terrence wasn't like Idris but I guess...
Marlo:Terrence is not like Idris Taraji and you know that yourself now talk to him and if it is true then you the only one who can decide what to do but for what it's worth I don't think Terrence would do that to you

19:45pm

Man I just fucked up for real, I was beating myself up asking what is wrong with Taraji or did I do something but now I know because I just saw the message Michelle sent when I forgot my phone at Taraji's place,I just hope this doesn't ruin the little I have with her because this a whole misunderstanding.  Michelle is  not even an ex girlfriend or a friend,she is just someone I use to sleep with ocassionally but we haven't even talked in like six months and for her to send that text message is just off because my relationship with Taraji went public so she knows that now I have to go see my baby and explain this whole mess.

I drove to her place and the security guard let me in without a hassle because he knows I'm here time to time. I pressed the door bell and she opened it after a few seconds letting me in.

Terrence:Hi
Taraji:Hi
Terrence:Can we talk please?
Taraji:Let's go to the lounge

She led the way and sat opposite facing me and my nerves went down when I saw the flowers I sent her earlier in a vase on the table.

Terrence:You saw the message I guess
Taraji:Yea
Terrence:Baby it's  not what you think it is I promise you.
Taraji:Then what is it Terrence?
Terrence:I'm not cheating on you I would never do that to you,Michelle is just someone I use to have relations with before I meet you I promise
Taraji:She must have know about me,i mean the whole world knows about us. Why was she sending you messages then
Terrence:Baby I don't know why she sent that message,I really don't know but you have to believe me babe because I'm telling you the truth I swear
Taraji:I believe you

Huh?

Terrence:Really?
Taraji:Yes
Terrence:I'm sorry for not telling you about her....
Taraji:Enough about that,I just made dinner and I'm sure you are hungry. So come let's got the kitchen

She got up from her seat and went to the kitchen and I followed her.

Man I've never dated someone like Taraji she is so calm and understanding,she doesn't throw rants and tantrums or throws things all over. I'm so used to that kind of behavior from my previous relationships including Vanessa but Taraji is the women I've always wanted in my life.
