I stare down at the address contemplating if I'd should go or not. All I know was my body! My body was telling me yes!!

I almost missed my turn to the lake listening to "Wait" when I see him standing there. He looks at his watch and looks at me like I was late. It was only 7:35. I was scared so why would I rush to my death. I got out the car leaning up against it.
"Hi!" I say waving excitedly.
POV D. Sanders
So she arrives late and gets out the car cheesing hard. She is lucky she kinda cute because I usually stand girls up when they late.
"You're late! I don't like to wait." She darted her eyes at me "I had things to do and this was very much last minute. Thank you very much." I cracked a smile because she isn't afraid of me. "You mouth is gonna get you in trouble." She raised her eyebrows and flared her nostrils "It's not like your gonna do anything about it, so I'll keep it."
I couldn't help but grab her by her waist looking into her eyes. "If I kissed you right now you wouldn't do anything?" He face relaxed and she said "I'd slap you." I was shocked "First off I don't know where your lips been and who the last girl you been with so that's a no go." I rolled my eyes and said "The last girl I kissed was my daughter she is 2 and the last woman I was with was her mother last month when she walked out on us." I saw her face sunk and she got serious. She said she was sorry and hugged my lightly and we talked about it for a bit.

We sat at the lake front getting to know each other when my phone rung and it was one of my side chicks. I sent it straight to voicemail because I felt something special in Hessing. I felt like it was time to let it. Time felt like it was flying and we were out there till 10:30. Kensly was being watched by my mom for the night. I walked Hessing over to her car and helped her get in.
"I think we should grab lunch this weekend." I smiled widely. She giggled nodding her head yes and said "Drive home safely, and text me when you get home safely." She ended up driving off without giving me her number. That girl know what she is doing.
Hessing POV I pulled off realized that I didn't give him my number. I felt so stupid!! I screamed in the car. Repeating to myself "TeXt mE wHeN yOu geT hoMe" I got home and got ready for bed scrolling through social media trying to find this man. Nothing popped up. I couldn't believe it! I ended up going to bed with him on on my mind.
I woke up with headache thinking all about D. Sanders. I got ready for school. It was a lazy day.

I headed out the door and called Kira to see what she wanted for breakfast at the Waffle House "Waffles, bacon 🥓, eggs 🍳, grits, orange juice 🥤" My wife always has a big appetite. I got our food and headed to school. When I pulled in I see D. He looks at me and shakes his head.
I get out and he says "You did me dirty. No number no nothing. I can't mess with you no more." I laugh and side hug him. " When I drove off I realized I never gave it to you. Take my phone in my and put it in. He took my phone and put his number in. "Alright I'll be taking your phone for the day." I laughed "I need to give Kira her food." He smiles and slip my phone back in my pocket.
While we walked into school with each other everyone started looking at us in awe and shock. I was confused 🤷🏽♀️ He kisses my forehead and said "text me later?" I nodded my head.
Akira POV I raised an eyebrow looking at Hessing like "you ain't shit!" She forgot my Orange Juice. All of sudden I see Sanders holding it and kiss her forehead. There was something suspicious 😒 going on.
I took my breakfast with a smile and sipped on my orange juice. "Hessing Lee Sanders, gotta nice ring to it if you ask me. I like Matthew though." She turns red and I knew there was something. "Spill it while I eat."
She closed her locker and said "We're just friends, he gave me a note to meet him at Pinder Lake and we just talked about him and his daughter." I nearly choked on my waffle "You tryna play stepmom I see." She laughed and said "I don't know about all that now, but he wants to grab lunch this weekend." I smile knowing this gonna be a interesting semester.
D. Sanders POV
I texted Amber about meeting up tonight for a usually. She know how I like it. Hessing and I are just friends I don't see nothing wrong with me hanging out with an old friend. I see her walk into class with Kira and I couldn't help but watch her. She sit with this arch in her back that make her ass poke out just right. She just don't know what I would do to her. I'm not ready for a relationship.
