"How did this happen?" I ask the newly married couple. I try to force a smile, but it won't form; it can not. This is truly the biggest shock of my life. My eyes begin to water as my ears are filled with how their love story began. But I can't focus on it. My mind roams rapidly; until it lands back in a place I visit often, and I can feel his palm on my lower back; the only thing that fills me is comfort, so I close my eyes, but only for a second I need to feel this. When I open my eyes, they meet his. I quickly look downward, and my eyes lock on his hand intertwined with hers. How did this happen? I think to myself. I look up at my friend, Allana, my best friend. She is glowing as she is talking about her new husband. I have never seen her so happy. The tear finally slips and slides down my face. How could this be happening? My best friend is married to the only man that understands. The only man that has ever been able to spark something inside of me. Lori is waiting for her bus to work when her life turned upside down. A bus decorated in a form of a fox appears after what felt like an eternity of waiting. Although the bus appears different, she mind no attention to it and hopped on. A ride in this bus will surely teleport her to a whole new world where nothing is like what it seems. Especially the academy she's soon about to enroll into. As Lori unravel the secret that the academy will do anything to keep hidden, she also have to try and blend in with the other students so she won't be kicked out. For she was only able to enroll into the academy with the special help of her friend.

She loved her family but was feeling apathetic now. She had been taken for granted, disregarded, and used if not manipulated and she was angry! Not at them but at herself for having allowed herself to be treated like that. She had stretched herself and burnt herself out. That none of them, intelligent and capable individuals, as they were, had the common sense nor willingness to collaborate with her, was no surprise. Why would they invite trouble for themselves! Well, it was time for a disruption. She takes off on a trip to get some solitude and recover herself.
