A well known crooked banker is shot dead in the middle of the small town of Green Rock, yet no one saw who shot him. A ten year old boy is charged with his murder because he was the closest person to him and his widow is out for blood or money. A stranger rides into town and rescues the boy.

Million of things that you probably do or do not want to hear.

"How did this happen?" I ask the newly married couple. I try to force a smile, but it won't form; it can not. This is truly the biggest shock of my life. My eyes begin to water as my ears are filled with how their love story began. But I can't focus on it. My mind roams rapidly; until it lands back in a place I visit often, and I can feel his palm on my lower back; the only thing that fills me is comfort, so I close my eyes, but only for a second I need to feel this. When I open my eyes, they meet his. I quickly look downward, and my eyes lock on his hand intertwined with hers. How did this happen? I think to myself. I look up at my friend, Allana, my best friend. She is glowing as she is talking about her new husband. I have never seen her so happy. The tear finally slips and slides down my face. How could this be happening? My best friend is married to the only man that understands. The only man that has ever been able to spark something inside of me. I need to get out of here, but I can not move, I am frozen. Author Note: This story is inspired by my twin-flame encounter. Thank you twin-flame for awakening my soul all over again.
