Sinbad woke up the next morning only to find out that his lover wasn't in the room. He quickly got up and made himself look presentable before exiting his room and looking for his lover. He asked around only to receive the same answer "sorry I haven't seen him, your highness..." The king sighed as he continued the search for his lover only to find him coming up the hallway with a basket of fruit. "Judal!" The magi looked up at him and tilted his head to the side. "Yes?"
"I looked everywhere or you! Where did you go?" Sinbad asked. Judal looked down at the basket in his hands then back up at him. "Oh, well you looked everywhere but the kitchen because that's where I was. I thought that you might be hungry so I was hoping that we could eat together."
"Why does it feel like this happened before?" Sinbad thought. A memory suddenly popped into his head of when he was in his office worrying about Judal because he hadn't seen the magi all day and Judal had entered the room after he had finished lecturing Ja'far with a basket of fruit looking nervous. Sinbad couldn't help but smile at the memory because now that the scene seemed to be repeating itself Judal is far more confident than he was back then.
Judal stepped closer to Sinbad and leaned his body to the side a bit, trying to get a better look at the taller male's face. "Sin?" At the mention of his name Sinbad snapped out of his trance and smiled at Judal. "You're so sweet Judal," he leaned down and kissed the magi's cheek. Judal wanted to ask if Sinbad was okay but he decided against it. Instead he quickly pecked his lips and held Sinbad's hand with his free one and lead him outside. "What are we doing out here?" Sinbad asked.
"I just wanted to sit out here with you and enjoy the view of the water. Is that okay...?"
"Oh, of course! Sorry, I wasn't thinking. My mind is still on other things."
"Other things...?" Judal asked as he sat down on a bench. "Well... yeah... We have a lot to take care of in Parthevia."
"Speaking of Parthevia, I sent a letter to the king in advance to let him know that we would be coming."
"Wow~ Always thinking ahead Judal~!"
"Well, as queen and magi of Sindria I would think that being on top of things would be a prerequisite."
"Normally it would be for the queen to give me a child and before you say anything, I regret nothing. It's been 3 years since I married you and I absolutely have no regrets." Sinbad said as he cut Judal off before he could say anything. Judal simply nodded and took a bite out of his peach. "Anyways, We should be to Parthevia soon. Please prepare yourself Judal."
"I should be saying that to you." The magi smirked

They finally arrived in Parthevia and Judal couldn't help but have a gloomy outlook of the entire situation. He didn't want to be there at all, but he knew that Sinbad needed this and that he needed this. "If I'm going to be the best damn queen then I need to grow a pair and get over my fears. How are we suppose to do business in this country if I don't even have the balls to walk into the damn palace?!"
"Agghh..."
"Something wrong Judal?"
"No... Just thinking. Anyways, let's go into town before we meet the king." Judal ground his teeth in annoyance after he spoke. "There I go... procrastinating... Just like Sinbad and his paperwork." (Me with my homework)
"That sounds like a great idea, but I think we should let the king know that we've arrived first. After that's done then we can check on everything in town. We can see how much things have changed under the new king... If there has been any change"
"Sin, the new king is very nice. I'm sure things are fine. When he replied to my letter he said that he hoped that we were both doing well and he hopes to see you soon."
"Hm... Sounds like a promising ally!"
"Lucky for you, on your behalf I helped him secure the throne last year. It's still a mystery to how you two haven't met yet. Judal gave a soft smile before holding the king's hand. "Which is why we're heading towards the palace now~" Sinbad smiled as he began to walk with Judal. They walked slowly as neither of them was really excited to step foot in the palace again. When they finally arrived at the doors of the palace Judal had frozen in place. "Judal...?"
"I-I don't know if I can do this... no... I can't... Please don't make me do this Sinbad!! I can't go in there! I just..." tears started to form and he squeezed his eyes shut. A voice in his head spoke to him "weak..." Sinbad held his lover close and brought their foreheads together "Yes you can...There is no need to fear... I am here and Dalir is not... You'll be okay. You're mine and nobody will ever take you from me, okay?" Judal gave a hesitant nod before resting his head on Sinbad's shoulder. The king could feel his wife tremble in his embrace. A few guards noticed the queen of Sindria in distress and rushed over to them. "Is everything alright over here?" A guard asked. "Yes, we're sorry for the disturbance. My wife just needed a moment to collect himself." Sinbad said with a slight smile on his face. "I-I'm sorry... f-for causing trouble..." Judal stuttered out. "Oh- uh... no need to apologize your highness! You have done nothing wrong. We were just concerned for your well being is all." The guard reassured them and Judal let out a small smile. "Anyways, welcome to Parthevia the emperor is waiting for you.
Two guards opened the palace doors while two other guards escorted them inside. Judal took a deep breath before stepping foot inside the palace.
"Everything will be fine."
