It was time for the party and of course, Judal was going through his pre-party social anxiety. "Ugghh I hate parties so much..."
"Why? You get to see everyone smiling and having a good time and you can interact with the people of our country!" Sinbad happily as he leads Judal outside. "That's the problem! I was never good at interacting with people! That's your thing, not mine!"
"Well, there's no need to worry because I'll be right beside you."
"Yeah, getting drunk..."
"Maybe I should give you some to loosen you up a bit~"
"N-No way!"
"Why not? Sindria is known for it's wonderful tasting wine made from the best freshly picked grapes~!"
"Wait, you make wine from grapes?! Is that really how wine is made?!??!!"
"You're so cute and innocent~"
"HOW THE FU-" Judal shut his mouth deciding to stop talking while he was ahead, but he still tried to process the new information. He was so deep in thought that he didn't even realize that they made it to the party. "Looking good Judal!!!" Pisti shouted which brought Judal out of his own world and back to the present. "Huh? Oh hi." He said awkwardly. "No need to be awkward your highness! You should be used to us by now!" Yamuraiha smiled happily at the magi. "Would you be angry if I said that I'm still not used to this?"
"I'd be angry if you turned tail and ran back to your room."
"Understandable, have a great day." He said as he turned to go find something to keep himself distracted, but was then pulled back into Sinbad's arm. "You're not going anywhere~," the king said.
"H-Huh?"
"Sit, converse, have a drink with us!"
"I-I don't know if I should drink..."
"Just try it Judal. It will be fine!"
"Says the one that's going to wake up with a big ass hangover tomorrow."
"He got you there Sin!" Sharrkan laughed. "It depends on how much you drink Judal! It's not like he's telling you to drink a whole bottle! Besides... He'll probably drink the whole bottle." Sharrkan reassured him.
"Haha~ you got me there! I am going to drink the whole bottle!"
"Oh shit." Ja'far and Judal said in unison.
I guess... it wouldn't hurt...? But only a little bit okay???"
"That's the spirit!" Sinbad pulled Judal to the table making the magi sit down as he poured his queen a cup of wine. Judal stared at the red liquid then sighed. "If I die, I'm going to come back from the dead and haunt all of you."
"Wait, what did I do?!?!" Alibaba asked. "You didn't try to stop me," Judal said then gulped the whole cup of wine down all at once. "That tasted good... but it also tasted like shit."
"What does that even mean?!?!?" Sharrkan questioned as he stared at Judal in disbelief. "It means exactly as I said it. It tasted good, but it also tastes like complete diabolical shit."
"Wait, shit is diabolical?"
"Are we really going to sit down and talk about this or are we going to continue on with our night?"
"I don't know. Maybe both." Judal shook his head and wrapped his arms around Sinbad's waist. "Feeling tipsy?"
"T-Tipsy...? Maybe a little." Judal let out a light giggle as he buried his face into Sinbad's chest. "Would you like to have a taste of rum?"
