Jesus Phuck I'm sorry for not posting I should actually post something huh
(Quinn POV)

Making breakfast had been fun, it made me feel safe, doing what I like. And Matthew and Stephane were really nice. I mean, they had stayed up all night to help ME. I still wasn't 100% sure about them quite yet, but They have only given me reason to like them. I was starting to feel like she almost had a family.

I looked back at my progress. 4 stacks of 7 banana pancakes. A bit overboard? Maybe, but I had to get them just right.
I cracked an egg and separated the yoke from the whites, dumping the yoke into the center of a pice of toast. I had cut a hole in on the stove. I began to hum. No song in particular, just random notes.

I drizzled the egg whites on the rest of the toast and flipped it over in the pan. Then a real tune came to me. An old song. The humming had soon taken over my thoughts, not me humming, a memory. Nervous humming. Shaky humming of the same song. Fear was the only thing I felt. Familiar fear. I heard a crash and looked around, nothing had fallen, maybe it was in my head?

The pan in front of me became very fuzzy, and soon the only thing I could hear was the nervous humming as I felt myself fall back.

I felt a smack to my head but it wasn't the ground that did it. It was a hand.
I was standing in front of a little boy, an older woman in front of me carried half a broken plate, and towered over me.

"Which one of you little shits-"

"-it was me!" I heard my mouth say, the boy behind me shuddered, and I felt another smack to my face as a tear ran down it.

"Never again" said the women sternly, with one final slap before walking away grumbling.

I felt myself turn around and hold the little boys face in my hands, though it was a lot like a dream. I got the whole gist of it but if I tried to focus on a feature it became fuzzy. I ruffled his thick black curly hair and gave him a kiss on his forehead, and a a few sobs came out of him.

"Hey hey, it's ok, shhhh your ok, take it slow your gonna be ok your gonna..."

Her voice faded out into someone else's,
Stephane? What was happening? Nothing made sense! I tried to get out of the place I was in. The darkness and the boy faded away to reveal Stephanie's arms around me. No way I could confuse them with what I saw I decided.
