"Trust you that I'll be fine?! You're just going to leave me like that?" I said as I got up and walked away. "You don't understand. I have to stop Mr. Park or else it'll turn into a disaster. He wants to combine his company with my parent's to keep all the money to himself. He wants me to marry Chorong in order to do that." Eric said as he grabbed my wrist making me look back at him. "Then what did you mean? Are you marrying her or not?" I asked. "No. I'm marrying you." He said as my heart fluttered. "That's nonsense. We're not even dating." I said as I chuckled. "So? Will you be my girlfriend?" Eric asked as he looked at me seriously. "What are you going to do if I said 'No'?" I asked him. "Then I won't bother you anymore." Eric said as he raised his eyebrow. "Yeah right. If I did say 'yes' how are you going to deal with Chorong's family?" I asked again giving him a worried expression. "Then there'll be no wedding for Chorong. Mr. Park won't steal our money and he won't take over my parent's business." He said as he got up and hugged me. "It's okay if you don't feel the same. I'll deal with this myself." Eric walked past me after breaking the hug. I soon grabbed his arm and turned him back at me. "How about, we do this together? Yes. Yes, I'll be your girlfriend." I said as if wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. After that I broke the kiss. "Really?" Eric asked. "Yeah." I replied. "You can finally become mines." Eric said as he put my hair behind my ears. "I'm happy." I said as I hugged him tightly. "Me too. But I hope you don't misunderstand anything." Eric said as he broke the hug. "I know we only met for almost a year. We've been pretty close. Even though I fell for you the first time. I'm sorry about the negative me back then." Eric said. "It's okay. Let's just focus on the present. The past is the last thing you want to focus on right now." I said. He kissed my forehead and smiled. "Thank you, Jagiya(Baby)" Eric said.
The next 3 months came along as I got closer to Eric. Suddenly. "Jagiya! How are you?" Chorong said as she kissed Eric on the cheek. Why did he let her do that? "Eric?" I said as I stood there. Eric turned around and he looked upset. "What are you doing with her?" I asked looking upset. "Nothing. Let's go Chorong." Eric said as he left with her. Maybe he was really just playing around with me. Later that night I went to the cafe. "Hey. Are you Y/n?" Someone asked me. "Yes?" I turned around seeing Chorong. *Slap* I put my hand on my cheek. "Are you crazy?" Chorong yelled. "He's mines!! Stay away from him. Don't let me catch you with or even speaking to him." Chorong said as she chuckled. "What?" I asked. "You heard me. I'm his fiancé." Chorong said as she showed me her ring. "We're getting married." She said as she walked away. "Oh my gosh! Y/n? Are you okay??" Momo asked me as she came to me. "Yeah. I'm okay." I said as I went to the bathroom. Tears ran down my eyes. "He's not worth my tears! Stop crying. Just break up with him already even if it'll hurt you." I said as I wiped my tears. I walked out the bathroom as I felt arms around my waist. "Y/n.. I'm so sorry." I turned around and saw Eric. I hugged him. What a jerk I am. He wrapped his arms around me. "I'm so sorry.. I didn't mean this." Eric said as he hugged me tightly. "What is this all about?!" I yelled. "Just wait a little longer for me." Eric said. I broke the hug. "No. You're getting married. Let's stop everything. We're done from this point." I said as I left him. I ran into the rain and cried on my way to halmoni's house. She was gone for a week again so I cried often during that point. *Ding Ding* I ran downstairs to open the door. "Are you perhaps, Y/n?"
