∆ Chapter 3 ∆
"Dominic Mariello, if you don't change this station right now..." I let the sentence hang while I glared at him.
"You know I don't like it when you call me Dominic," he fought back, "Dom sounds manlier."
"You sleep in your sisters pink Hello Kitty pajamas, so I didn't exactly think being manly was a priority of yours," I paused, "how do you even still fit in those?" I couldn't help but be amazed every time I saw him in them.
"She was a chubby teenager," he left it at that and changed the annoying rap music that was playing.
"How's Ty?" I changed the subject like he changed the radio station.
Ty was Doms off and on again boyfriend.
" He's currently mad at me because I lied about going partying with some guys."
Did I forget to mention Dom was kind of a manwhore? Well he was.
I let out a heavy sigh "If you keep messing around you're going to lose him."
"Who says I want to keep him?" I could tell it was false bravado but still, guys were douchebags.

The car ride to the park Wyatt liked to jog at was short, as expected. We positioned ourselves so that every place he frequented was close by. Very stalker-ish, I know, but it was necessary.
A question I'd been dying to ask but hadn't had the courage to, suddenly surfaced.
"So, what's the deal with this one? Is it like a father-son duo? Does he also enjoy drugs with a side of cold blooded murder?" It would already be hard trying to seduce the son of my parents' killer; I didn't also want to be kissing a murderer.
"If you'd read his files you wouldn't have to ask," Dom patronized me, "but no, Wyatt is what we like to call an innocent bystander he has no idea what his father's really like which means he cant find out about anything ,and ABSOLUTELY no harm is to come to him," he gave me a serious look as if I was planning to suffocate Wyatt in his sleep. Which may or may not have crossed my mind before.
Knowing he wasn't a complete ass-hat made things slightly easier, but I stuck by the saying 'the apple doesn't fall far from the tree' he was still Victor Stonemen's spawn and not being a part of his father's secret deals didn't make him a saint in my eyes.
"Okay so how are we doing this?" I asked.
"I might have a plan..." His voice sounded mischievous.
We got out of the car and started walking ,passing a few trees and a lake until Dom finally stopped at a bench and sat down.
"He passes by here every day, so now all we have to do is wait," he picked up a rock on the ground that was near him and began playing with it.
There were a few people around, a cute couple walking ahead of us, a man riding his bike, and two children ran around behind us on a grassy hill with their mother watching them. It was weird watching other people, almost insignificant. They didn't matter because their faces didn't come with a story. For all I could see, they were happy.
I almost couldn't remember what that was like anymore...
Before I could get too into it Dom nudged me with his elbow. "Here he comes," I looked to the direction he was staring at to see a figure coming towards us.
