Atlantean Training

•Chapter 2•

Perseus shook the little girl's hand the two already sharing a bond, the girl named Artemis still had her doubts about the man in front of her but decided to go against those Thoughts. As the sea green eyes of Perseus and the silver orbs of Artemis stared into one another,  The sun started to set over the horizon, the water started losing its transparency. The moon started to arise on the distance, the once clear water turned to a deep blue as the moon light shone against the water of the ocean.

Perseus looked towards Artemis, Perseus made a small gasp once he saw the girl with auburn hair. Artemis' eyes shone with a silvery light her silver eyes turning into moons. The moon above seemed to shine brighter as if saying that the Moon approves of Artemis, the lunar light cascading down the small girl giving her the feel of a goddess. Perseus had a confused expression as he looked at the girl before him trying to figure out why the moon was so fond of her.

"Is it always like that" Perseus askedto the silver eyes girl. Artemis nodded slowly as if deciding wether to trust Perseus to not. Perseus glanced at moon and silently cursed to himself, Perseus looked at Artemis an apologetic look dawning on the Son of Poseidon's features. Artemis raised an eyebrow asking a question as to why.

"Artemis, I have got to go or else my father will get mad, erm, how about we meet here again tomorrow at sun down?" Perseus asked, Artemis tilted her head her auburn hair cascading down her shoulders, Artemis shrugged and made a small nod towards Perseus her silver orbs staring at the son of Poseidon. The moon seemed to shine on the two friends, even though they just met it felt like they were best friends

"Sure, I have got nothing to do, it's getting boring in here with only my mother and my brother" Artemis said to Perseus, Perseus made a cheeky smile towards Artemis. His sea green eyes shone with excitement and delight. Artemis eyes seemed to glow even more as the moon shone with approval

"Then it's a deal then" Perseus said his cheeky grin still showing on his features, Perseus extended his hand towards Artemis his grin still plastered onto the demigod's face, the small girl made a small grin and shook Perseus' hand finishing the deal. Perseus waved Artemis a goodbye and exited the forest. The Demigod Son of Poseidon approached the shoreline digging his bare feet into the cold water. The ocean seemed t be welcoming the boy like a mother calling her child back home.

Perseus sighed in contempt breathing in the fresh sea breeze, The son of Poseidon walked deeper into the ocean until the water was as high as his torso. Perseus took a deep breath and took a dive plunging into the blue abyss. Bubbles escaped from the air pockets of his clothes escaping to the ocean surface. Perseus took a deep breath underwater like the water was mere oxygen, Perseus swam to the deep parts of the ocean the water around him turning into a more darker hue.

The Prince of the sea swam deeper and deeper until he was now on the ocean floor, the young prince landed on the ground with a small thud, Perseus walked casually on the sandy dunes of the ocean. The currents blew the son of Poseidon's hair into his eyes blocking his field of view. Perseus straightened his hair until it was semi decent, it was still like a crows nest, it never stayed tame. Perseus sighed and walked the ocean floor, fish and sharks swam by him greeting the young prince every time the fish passed him, Perseus would wave them off telling the subjects of the ocean They Need not call him Prince. The young prince would really hate formalities, jhe just wouldn't show it, he would just come of as frustrated.

The spawn of the Sea walked until a grand city stood in front of the young boy, the sunken city of Atlantis. Perseus walked to the main gates of Atlantis passing some guards and giving them a wave. Perseus entered the city, Mermaids and Mermen alike turned to see the young prince crowding him like a celebrity. The crowd of people circled the young boy wanting to have the attention of their prince.
