Adrianna's Pov

I woke up in a cold sweat i look around frantically and I realize it was just a dream I look around again and it wasn't I'm in a lightened room I try to get up but I realize I'm tied up again I see someone walking i don't see who they are her but when they come into the light I know exactly who it is Amelia Hayes "I'm glad your up he wants to see you little bitch" ,she says as she heals my arm and takes me into a small but cozy room "I'm so glad you could join us Adrianna I was starting to worry you wouldn't wake up I wouldn't care either way",the mystery person says when they turn around they look fam i "I think you know who I am but I'm gonna tell you anyway I'm Derek Hayes amelia's older step brother I told Amelia that all I want is her happiness and being the princess of the most grand royal family of all the vampires is what she wants so I'm gonna give her just that and you in the way of that" ,he states "how I'm I in your way" ,I ask annoyingly "well your boyfriend is Alex the Prince his family is the most grand royal family of all the vampires I want you to break up with him when you do I will know and once that happens all the bad stuff that's been happening to you and to people around you will stop do we have a deal",he says with his hand out for me to shake and a bright smile me and Alex have never had the boyfriend and girlfriend talk so I don't know what to say "well do we have a deal",Derek says angrily mixed with annoyance "I don't know if I can make this deal with you because...Alex isn't even my boyfriend" ,I say letting out a breath I didn't know I matter-of-factly "I accept your deal okay",I say as tears start to trickle down my face Amelia untied me then I turn to face them "your all monsters you know that",I say as Amelia leads me to a black car "what's are gonna do to me" ,I ask her with fear evident in my voice "I'm not going to do anything to you your leaving" ,she says as she hands me the keys "your really just letting me go just like that" ,I ask her nervously "just like that so go",she says angrily "oh and if you say anything about this to anyone we will find you and we will kill you and everyone you know and love got it" "got it",I say confidently as I get in the car and drive home once I get their Alex is waiting for me outside fear and worry evident in his shimmering green eyes he playIng a game on his phone so i walk up to him and I tap his shoulder he turns around abruptly "Adrianna were have you been everyone has been looking for you?" ,he ask me concern evident in his voice this is going to be harder than I thought "I was...out thinking about us" ,I trial off "what about us Adrianna" ,he ask curiously I try to blink back the tears that are without a doubt trying to fall I look at him held up high (I've got to just rip the band aid off its harder just trying to easily peel it off) "Alex I'm breaking up with you Maxton and you were right this can't happen it can't work I'm sorry we tried if I knew it wasn't going to last",I say as I run in the house Alex trying to follow after me I shut the door and lock it eventually Alex goes home then his room light comes on and he opens up the window and he looks directly at my window I open it slightly "leave me alone alex" ,I say as I close my window and go to bed everything had finally been going great for everyone but me Amelia got what she wanted and everyone isn't hurt or dead so that's good during lunch I felt nauseous so I went to the nurse "dear your fine it's just a little sickness it should go away soon",she says as I leave the nurses office the rest of the day I felt dead it felt like my heart was gone like I couldn't feel any emotion but sadness since lunch I've been home I didn't even go shopping or hung out with my friends and I always do both of those things I get out of bed and I pick up my phone I have ten missed call from Lisa Hailey and Abby I decided to call them back later I went into the kitchen and I saw mom making breakfast while drinking coffee and dad drinking coffee and making a phone call once I sat down mom and dad looked at me and gasped in shock "honey...I didn't know you were coming down for breakfast unless I would have made some for you",mom stammers nervously "it's okay mom I'm not hungry" ,I say as I go upstairs and I change into my red v neck jumpsuit I put some red lipstick on and my black heels I smile at myself in my body length mirror I walk downstairs and my parents gasp "honey I can't let you go outside like that I forbid it" ,my father states angrily I roll my eyes and I walk ok the door I hate doing the to my parents but I have to blow off so other built up steam I walk to the park and I head boys whistling at me but I don't this new me is not for them it's for me I smile and wink at them but deep down I only want to do that to Alex but I need to get him out of my head he's amelia's now oh I forgot to tell you that they started dating a few days ago I'm happy for them i really am (note the sarcasm)i walk back home i get in my car and I go to the carnival and that's where I see them the new couple Alex and Amelia I smiled at them then I ask over to them Alex stares at me adoring me i feel like blushing but I'm not he's not worth that anymore so I keep the fake smile plastered on my face nonetheless "hey guys how are it's been awhile" ,I say as Alex is still strong at me until Amelia clears her throat we both look at her abruptly "we're doing great I'm just so happy aren't you Adrianna",she say with a smile that instantly turns into a smile "because I know I am",she whispers to me before they leave me alone in my thoughts I take a breath I regain control and I ask to the Ferris wheel I get my ticket I bump into a well dressed handsome man he smiles at me I return the gesture "what's a beautiful woman like you going on the Ferris wheel all alone" ,he say as he sits next to me "I guess I'm not alone anymore I'm Adrianna by the way" ,I say politely "I'm sorry where are my manners I'm Adrian Peterson" ,he says with that godly smile of his "well nice to meet you Adrian so what do you do",I ask him "I'm a businessman of pt tech",he says looking at the stars with in adornment "that's nice I've actually heard of that place if you don't mind me asking how old are you" ,I ask him "I'm only twenty well how old are you miss Adrianna" ,he ask me "I'm 17 but my birthdays in a few week's but I think I don't want to celebrate with everything bad that's happened in my life since the new kid came to town that's nothing to celebrate let me assure you its not",I state gazing up at the stars above when the ride ends we get odd and we enjoyed all the other activities we even took pictures today was a great day after all Adrian is really nice deer kind and funny all the things I want in a guy not someone like Alex who's been lying to me from the start when we stop in form of my house I get out and I pick Adrian on the cheek thanks for the ride Adrian I had fun with you this is the most fun I've had in awhile" ,I say with a smile that's when Adrian pulls me in for a kiss as I kiss him I think about Alex and I pull back why canto just get him out of my head i don't love him I never did "what's wrong" ,he ask me "nothing I'm fine we should do this again sometime" ,I say as I walk in side my parents sitting on the couch they look at me anger evident in their eyes I sit down next to them ready to get lectured "I told you not to where that what is up with you Adrianna you've changed since you broke up with Alex your like a delinquent now I didnt I didnt like Alex all that much but he was good for you",he said as my blood started to boil with anger "dad you guys don't know what was good for me and Alex sure wasn't Adrian is he's perfect he's a great guy in fact just so show that he's better than Alex to I can meet him tomorrow at dinner ",I say as I walk upstairs leaving them to disagree by themselves because I knew it I'd stayed down their they would have told me he couldn't come i take a shower I put on some sweats and a baggy sweatshirt and I go to bed in the morning I get out bed I do my daily routine just with an extra something I walk downstairs and is at breakfast dad loos at me he puts his phone down and he looks at me then he clears his throat "so what is Adrian like?" ,dad ask me "he's nice smart funny and all out perfect for me I met him yesterday at the carnival we had an instant connection" ,I say honestly "when did so to I to the carnival it doesn't matter the point is is that you met him yesterday and you already want him to meet us",dad ask curiously "yeah I think that this is going to be great" ,I say as I get my keys and head to school when I walk in theirs a new girl I turn to look at the girls
