Third Person POV
After a month or so the two Universe twins had fully moved into the house with the gems. Greg came over every other day to read them to sleep but apart from that they barely saw their dad.
It was kind of confusing but they didn't really have the guts to question the gem's decisions, or their dad's for that matter. They just guessed it was because he wasn't really meant to see them because of the social workers or whatever after a while.
They forgot most of the things that had happened before they were six or seven, meaning (Y/N) forgot about Sunny, both forgot about the fusing incident and Ruby and Sapphire, all just being distant memories.
The gems were kind of thankful for it. If they had remembered Sunny and Ruby and Sapphire (Fusion not included because the gems didn't know) it would cause a lot of questions and awkward answers. They already had to deal with questions about what gems are and why they exist things like that. They had stopped questioning them in why they couldn't see Greg as much as they did so that was a good thing.
Steven and (Y/n) had continued sharing a bed even though the gems and Greg insisted they didn't. There were two beds up there but they slept in the same one no matter what. Even if the gems moved one to the other bed. They'd just go back to the other sibling.
They were really close and nobody was going to stop that.
