Chapter 2- part 4: I can't do this...

(Y/M/N) = Your mother's name

Amethyst's POV

"There are so many futures were she dosen't live but you do. But in the few that the oppisite happenes, she won't live normally..." Garnet said looking at (Y/M/N), Greg and Rose.

"What's going to happen if she lives?" Rose asked for (Y/M/N) who was already regreting talking to us about (Y/N).

"She won't live a normal human life..." Garnet took off her visors before continuing, "Her father is half gem, and you know this. (Y/N) will not age past ten just like Steven, but unlike him she won't have a physical gem."

"What does that mean? What's going to happen?" (Y/M/N) asked finnaly speaking for the first time in the past hour

"She won't die. She will be essentually immortal..." Garnet wiped a tear from her left eye.

Greg grabbed (Y/N/M)'s hand who had tears beginning to fall down her face.

I went to the bed they were sitting on and hugged (Y/M/N)

"We're so sorry..." I said as I began crying too.

I shot up with tears streaming down my face, breathing heavily.

"Amethyst!" Pearl said concerned

"I'm fine..." I said, my voice faltered when I said 'fine'

"Are you sure?" Greg asked... I didn't even notice him there.

"Yes. Now what the hell happened?" I said

"You for some reason fell asleep..." Garnet said

"And we saw your dream..." Pearl said

"Uh..." I gulped nervously

"I can't belive you're still scared for her..." Pearl said

"I-I just can't stop thinking about it..." I said

"It's been affecting your fighting." Garnet commented

"I can't concentrate with the memories coming back..." I said I really hated being like this

"We know that you miss her and we do to but you can't keep letting this happen." Pearl said

"I-I know. I'll try." I said slightly unable to process what had happened.

Greg's POV
We found Amethyst and she instantly fell asleep once we got to the apartment. Last night was hard on Amethyst. She actually fell asleep because of it. I don't want to think that I have a deadline to talk to Amethyst about the... arrangements.

"Hey kids." Garnet said finally fused

"Garnet!" The two shouted in unison before hugging the fusion.

"Hello." Garnet said laughing a little bit

"Hello!" Amethyst said cheerfully

The kids let go of Garnet and ran to Amethyst hugging her as well

"Why did you run off!?" (Y/N) asked furiously

"I just needed to cool off..." She said

"You scared the livin' daylight outta us!" Steven said equally angry

"Sorry... but I'll make it up to ya! I swear on my life!" Amethyst promised picking up the kids and hugging them, all three laughed.

"Amethyst..." Pearl said uneasily.

"Yeah?" She answered

Pearl and Garnet looked at me with a face that said 'I'm not going to do this.' Then Amethyst and the kids in her arms looked at me in confusion.

"Amethyst... I can't keep the kids..." I said expecting Pearl or Garnet to pitch in.

"What!?!" Amethyst and the twins said

"But!" Pearl stepped in, 'We are going to take them, by the time they are around 9 or 10."

Amethyst looked like she was either going to scream or cry, the kids were dead confused and Pearl, Garnet and I were just hoping that they understood what was going on.

"...I'm going to take the kids out... I'll see you...later..." Amethyst fumbled

"Alright..." I said

Amethyst took the kids out of the apartment and out to town.

It might not make that much sense but who cares? Probably you... oh who cares!? Y- never mind. But yeah I was tired while writing and checking over it so sorry 'bout that.
