Syena's POV: Class had been cut short today so everyone could go support our team. "Syena, you can't go like that." Evie said gesturing to my outfit, "What's wrong with it?" I asked looking it over in the full body mirror, "You're not supporting Auradon with your color palette at least wear a blue or yellow." Evie chided as she went through the drawers to look for something that met her expectations. "Here!" Evie said triumphantly taking out a simple blue dress along with a pair of yellow flats. My jaw dropped at the outfit, "Evie this is more you, than me. I don't wear yellow much less dresses." I complained as Evie gave me a deadpanned look, "What are you going to wear to the Coronation? Pants?" Evie asked as I began to think about it seriously, "Don't think about it seriously.Come on, just this once, please?" Evil begged holding out he outfit she had chosen. Giving in, I nodded in agreement as I slipped the dress on, realizing it was clingier around the stomach than I had initially thought. "Come on, we'll be late." Evie said as she rushed me out the door. In actuality, we were early, very early, the stands were empty the team was warming up now. "Evie, we are very much early." I said as she giggled, "I know, but I also know your plan about breaking Ben's spell." Evie said looking at me with sympathy. I sighed, I drew out the vial of the anti-curse. "How does it work?" Evie asked as I messed with the bottle, "I... I've never used it before but from what I got it, can be administered in a drink." I replied looking at it. "And that goes against Good 101." Evie joked I could only muster a weak smile. "Oh, wait here he comes." I looked up to see Ben jogging up to us. "I forgot I promised to help Mal with something." Evie said as she took off. "Hey." Ben said as he got closer, he was already sweating, and the game hadn't started yet. "Hey Ben." I said looking at him as he smiled down at me, "You came?" He asked almost surprised, "You told me to." I responded fiddling with the vial in my pocket. "What's wrong Syena? You look tense, is everything okay?" Ben asked gazing at me lovingly, the love he felt for me wasn't real, and that's what hurt. "Um, yeah. I- I..." I stumbled for words, "Love, what's wrong?" Ben asked again as he looked at me in concern. "You don't love me." I muttered, Ben's face quickly changed into confusion, "What do you mean?" He asked, "You're under a love spell Ben, those cookies that Mal gave you, they were laced with a love potion, it was supposed to make you fall in love with Mal, I just happened to get in the way." I said shakily as tears began to bead at the corner of my eyes. His widened with a realization, "Put these in your tea, it'll help you with getting rid of the spell." I explained handing him the vial. He took it before pocketing it and drawing me in for a hug.
Ben's POV: "Thank you for telling me Syena. But it doesn't change anything, not how I think about you, or how I feel about you." I whispered in her ear, as she hugged me back, burying her face in my jersey. Letting her go she made her way back into the stands sitting down as more and more people began to fill the stands. I took out the vial looking at its contents, if what she said was true someone had tried to entrap me to be part of some scheme.
