Twilight A Different Kind of Remorse

Disapproval?

When someone disapproves of your love life its usually your parents or a sibling, but no this time it's Edward. I had come back to get my things to go live with Alec in Italy telling my mom, dad, and Bella that I was going to attend a school there, when I came back so Alice and I could leave again I found her arguing with Edward.

"You can't let him live with them."

"Why not Edward? What do you care? Your concern should be Bella! She is your mate, Esto found his."

"Yeah Alec, Jane's brother who would kill him if he pissed him off."

"I doubt that, you're being ignorant."

I entered now figuring they'd stop arguing, and I was right they did. Alice turned to me now ignoring Edward.

"Do you have everything and are ready to go?"

"Yeah I've got everything I'm ready."

Edward grabbed me before I could follow Alice out the door, "Please Esto don't do this don't go there."

I pulled away easily and shoved across the room a bit with my newborn strength, "Fuck off Edward."

I turned and walked out the door and Alice and I got in the car and headed for the airport.

*Some time later*

Alice and I were saying our goodbye's before she went back home, when she smiled at me.

"Esto I still have one little secret left to tell you."

"Alice you're full of surprises."

She smiled at me, "You have a power use it wisely."

"Wait what is it?"

She smiled and turned away and started to leave but stopped at the door and looked at me, "Goodbye Esto, email me if you want." Then she was gone.

I watched her go wondering what power could I possibly have? Aro had heard it and smiled turning to everyone.

"Well it seems this lovely boy has his own gift we'll have to find out what it is won't we."

"How are we supposed to do that?" I questioned looking as all the Volturi that had powers surrounded me.

Aro smiled and looked at Jane, "Jane if you will."

She smiled as if clearly she'd been wanting to do this, she focused on me and I hit the floor pain going all over but from no where, I knew her power from what Alice had told me I hadn't expected it to work although I was wishing it would reverse and work on her instead.

Suddenly the pain was gone and Jane was on the floor until she stopped using her power.

Aro suddenly crossed to me and grabbed my hand hoping to enter my mind I tried it again thinking about how I could reverse it, and I suddenly could see into Aro's mind, he let go when he realized I was studying him, instead of the other way around.

He stepped back and looked at Alec, "I think he's discovering it Alec would you please?"

Alec looked at him and glared, "Absolutely not."

"Alec no is not an answer." He said looking at me now.

I looked at Alec the power started coming from his palms, and suddenly I focused on reversing it, it started to attack him but he quickly stopped it.

"Esto, what's your power?"

"I believe I can reverse any power to make it work to my ability."

"Let's see if it works in a multitude, shall we?" Aro said and they all tried to use it on me at once.

I focused on reversing the effects at once on each of them and they quickly reversed before they ever reached me, they stopped when the affect was on them and not me.

"Very good, this will be useful to us, Alec and Jane you too shall make him a member of the guard."

With that he turned went back to his throne and shooed us away, Alec, Jane, and I left to go make me a member of the Volturi guard.
